SPEEDSTAR produced decent form before the break and he should come on nicely with this run under the belt. RATTAN WORLD needs to confirm his recent improvement made on the All Weather.

WOODFIRE CHAMP won by a neck over this course and distance last time. He remains in Class 5 and can make it quick back-to-back wins. JOYFUL LIFE is better than his below-par last effort and he could be one to fill the exacta spot. HO HO STAR is next in line.

The top-weight SUPER ELITE finished a neck behind Spicy So Smart last time. He has cracked a neat draw and should be involved in the outcome of this contest. ACE TALENT is nicely weighted with apprentice Ellis Wong aboard and he can feature if overcoming the wide draw.
14:10 – Race 4 | Class 4 | 1650m

SURE JOYFUL won his last start narrowly over this course and distance. He remains in Class 4 and should give another good account of himself. GALLANT CROWN wasn’t disgraced behind Sturdy Ruby last time. He comes in with a handy galloping weight and if putting his best foot forward, he can give the top selection a good run for his money.
14:40 – Race 5 | Class 4 | 1200m

BEAUTY DESTINY finished a length behind STORMING DRAGON last time. The pair meet on similar weight terms and there shouldn’t be too much separating them in the run down to the line. The Douglas Whyte trained KING ECCELLENTE finished second last time and he should be approaching peak fitness.
15:10 – Race 6 | Class 4 | 1200m

TACTICAL COMMAND finished a nose behind GALLANT VALOUR in his penultimate start. He is knocking on the door and definitely represents decent each-way value for Hong Kong racing pundits. YEE CHEONG SPIRIT ran on nicely from a long way back last time. He has cracked pole and must be included in all bets.
15:45 – Race 7 | Class 3 | 1800m

CHAIN OF GOLD has finished positively in his last two runs over a mile. If seeing out the extra 150m on offer, he should have a say in the outcome of this contest. ROCKET SPADE followed up his recent win with a good effort behind I Can and he should appreciate the step up in distance. RED MAJESTY is next best.
16:15 – Race 8 | Class 3 | 1200m

CHATEAUNEUF won well in his last start and looks one of the better bets on the card. It is encouraging that Karis Teetan has kept faith in the ride. LUCKY ARCHANGEL finished 4.5 lengths behind BRAVE STAR last time. He is 4kgs better off at the weights and should finish closer as a result.
16:50 – Race 9 | Class 2 | 1650m
Selections: 7/6/4
FLAMINGO TRILLION finished a neck behind WOODFIRE BRO last time. He is slightly better off at the weights and it may be just enough to turn the tables. CHILL CHIBI is better than his last start on the All Weather. He will relish racing back on turf and must also be strongly considered in the lucky last!
