It must be noted that the horse that finished third that day has come out and won since. He will love the rise to the mile and should strip much fitter. From his good draw of three, he should take a power of beating.

EL DANTE raced from a handy position over 1400m on this course last time, but found one too good in the form of Nelson Bay. It must be noted that the form of that race has been franked. He finished 3.1 lengths behind CYBER TIME in his penultimate run. He is 10kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned. He is likely to race on the speed and may be hard to peg back.

Jockey: K Lihaba – Trainer: A Wright
JET LEGACY ran a good race when third in his comeback run over 1200m on this course. He should have finished closer to the winner that day as he had to be switched for a clear run in the latter stages. He won his maiden over this C&D. The son of Divine Jet should strip much fitter and he is the horse to beat.
