DUCHESS OF WINDSOR returns from a 16 week break and is a 3yr old filly taking on the boys. She has finished third in both of her starts to date and was staying on nicely in her last outing over 1160M. On that effort, she should have no problem handling the slightly longer trip of today’s race.

FAYROOZ is lightly raced having had just the two runs to date. She took a big jump in distance up to ten furlongs last time out after a debut over six furlongs. That may have been too far for her at this stage of her career and she quickly drops back to a mile. She should give a good account of herself here.

TOKYO DRIFT ran on strongly to just fail to overhaul the winner in his last start over 1450M. Gavin Lerena rode him that day and would have learnt a lot about him. The pair are likely to come home with a powerful finish over this extra distance.
