Race 6
Although LOOKS LIKE ELVIS is recorded as finishing seventh in his last start over seven furlongs, he was just under two lengths behind the winner. That was in a Group 2 contest where he was making good late progress, suggesting that the extra ground on offer here will be to his liking. From a handy gate four he is taken to be the value bet on today’s card. YAMAZAKI is a 5yr old mare taking on the boys, but she is seldom far off the action and stayed on well before ending up in second place in her latest outing over seven furlongs in a Group 3 race. She faces a wide draw of ten, but is likely to put in another honest performance today. I AM SUPERMAN showed marked improvement to win his last run to record his maiden victory when returning from a 22 week break. He starts from a mid-field draw and should be involved in the finish.
Race 7
Seven of the nine runners in this field contested the same Group 2 race last time out and we could have the winner of that race, ROTHFIRE confirm his superiority here. He completed his hat-trick when winning that race by one and a half lengths when returning from a 14 week rest. He hit the front at the 200M mark and strode away from the opposition over the closing stages. He is drawn eight out of the nine runners, but nevertheless he still looks to be the best bet on the program. KING’S LEGACY missed out on his hat-trick in that race, but he took a bump at the start and did well to recover to finish just over five lengths back from the top choice. He is drawn one outside the former and should be doing his best work late. NORTH PACIFIC also missed out on his hat-trick that day, but he was staying over the latter stages and from gate six, he could complete the trifecta here.
Race 8
HAUT BRION HER goes for her hat-trick after winning a Group 2 event over six furlongs in her last outing over this trip when returning from a lengthy 49 week absence. She also won her penultimate run over this journey by the same margin. She will have to overcome the widest draw of them all at gate fifteen, but she is likely to be dropped out of it early and should be picking off the frontrunners over the closing stages. JEN RULES finished second in the above race. 0.8L behind the former when returning from a shorter 13 week rest. She is 0.5kgs better off at today’s weights and has a kinder draw six, so there should not be much separating the pair when they hit the line. SWEET DEAL finished ninth in her last start in a Group 2 race over six furlongs, just over two lengths back from the victor. She faces a wide draw ten, but has her peak run today and should be included in all bets.
Race 9
MASKED CRUSADER is seldom too far off the action and raced wide before finishing third last time out over 1100M, one length behind the winner. He attracted plenty of betting support that day and from gate two, he will be hoping to make amends today. PURPLE SECTOR had made steady improvement if his last three outings before taking a 20 week break. He returns here having put in two encouraging barrier trials. He has drawn the widest of them all at gate twelve, but should be right up there in the mix. PRIME CANDIDATE followed up his penultimate run victory over this c&d with a fifth place finish over the same c&d, 5.2L behind the winner. He is drawn in gate ten, but he likes to race up with the pace, so this might not be such an issue.

Race 5
KYPREOS followed up his penultimate run victory over seven furlongs with a seventh place finish next time out over a mile, three lengths behind the winner, but he did not get the clearest of passages that day and the effort is best ignored. He returns from a 11 week rest, but has had the benefit of a barrier trial. Jumping from gate four, he could be the one that they all have to beat. SUPERGAZE returns from a 16 week rest and an encouraging barrier trial. He has posted two solid efforts over seven furlongs, finishing third in his latest outing, just under a length off the winner and although drawn in gate eight, he could emerge as the biggest danger to the top choice. MUSTAFA was seldom far off the action before embarking on a lengthy 57 week break. He returns here after having had two barrier trials to prove his fitness and despite having to negotiate the widest draw of them all at gate ten, he should be involved in the finish today.
Race 6
ALFSTAR has his second run after a 46 week absence and did finish second in his comeback outing over 900M, this after winning his sole barrier trial. He looked a winner that day, but was run out of it very late. He will have to overcome a wide gate ten, but he should be right up there when they hit the line. UNDENIABLE is a 3yr old filly taking on the boys, but she had her consistency rewarded with a win last time out over 1010M. She was immediately rested for 19 weeks and returns here after recording two fair barrier trials. She jumps from gate six and should be included in all bets. POTTS POINT is a 5yr old mare who is drawn one inside the latter. She was a little disappointing in her last start when nearly five lengths back from the victor, but she had to be checked at the 1000M mark that day and never seem to fully recover from that incident.
Race 7
HIGHLY DESIRED was making good late progress when finishing second in his last start over a mile, just over a half a length behind the winner. He has cracked pole position and could prove to be difficult to topple in this line-up. BOOMTOWN RAT stayed on well when posting a third place finish in his last outing over a mile, 1.1L back from the winner. On that effort he should enjoy the extra ground on offer today. The gelding has a handy gate three and could emerge as a threat to the top pick. TOULON BROOK looked dangerous before ending up in fourth place in his last run over a mile, just under one and a half lengths behind the victor. He starts from gate six and could complete the trifecta here.
Race 8
MORPHEUS was hampered at the start and then had to be steadied at the 1000M mark, before coming wide into the straight and eventually finishing nearly six lengths behind the winner. He is drawn in gate ten, but with better luck in running today, he could be the value bet on the day’s card. HIT THE TARGET came wide into the straight before finishing sixth last time out over 1250M, eight lengths behind the winner when returning from a 10 week rest. He is drawn the widest of the lot at gate eighteen, but possesses early gate speed with he should utilize to move across without expending too much energy. WORLDLY PLEASURE is a 6yr old mare taking on males, but she has pulled pole position. She jumped awkwardly and was then hampered shortly after the start before ending up seventh, over five and a half lengths behind the winner. She should be right up there in the firing line.

Race 4
MEYISTI had his consistency rewarded when winning his maiden race in his last start over six furlongs by nearly three lengths. He hit the front at the 150M mark and drew away from the chasing pack over the closing stages. He faces a wide draw of thirteen, but should use his early gate speed to move across without expending up too much energy.  SOLVENCY is a 4yr old filly taking on the boys and who has a far kinder gate four. She finished sixth in her last outing over 1250M when returning from a 22 week break and if not in need of one more run, she could threaten the top choice. SAINT AMBROSE raced wide before ending up in second place in his latest outing over seven furlongs. He has drawn gate two and should be involved in the finish here.
Race 5
MILITARY BAY is seldom far off the action and then cracked a win last time out over seven furlongs by nearly three lengths. He went from jump to wire that day and despite drawn wide in gate eleven, he may prove difficult to reel in over the latter stages of the contest. BERRUTI raced wide, but still managed to win by half a length over five furlongs on debut. He would not doubt have come on with the run under his belt and from draw three, he looks the immediate danger to the top pick. COZHECANCAN has consistent formlines to his name and was hampered at the 100M mark when finishing third in his last outing over five furlongs. The gelding is drawn one outside the latter and should be included in all bets.
Race 6
LEO finished fourth in his last run, but overraced badly in the middle stages of that contest, and the effort is best ignored. He drops to a lesser center today and whilst he will have to overcome a wide nine draw, he may prove to be too strong for this field and is taken to be the best bet on the program. GOLD CODES had finished second in his last two runs prior to ending up five lengths behind the winner in his last start over five furlongs. He jumps from one inside the former and could threaten him for top honors. I’M A CRACKER returns from a 23 week break and has not had the benefit of a barrier trial, so his well-being will have to be taken on trust, but he has only had the three runs to date, winning two of them, so he clearly has some ability. From draw four and if not too much in need of the outing, he should be involved in the finish.
Race 7
ANOTHER SIN jumped awkwardly and then did not get the clearest of passages when finishing fifth in his last start over 900M, three lengths behind the victor. He has a handy gate three and could be the one to side with here. IAMACRUMPET is a 6yr old mare taking on boys, but she has her peak run today after returning from a 16 week absence. She raced three wide in her last outing over this distance and then understandably had nothing to offer over the latter stages. She has gate six and should not be easily overlooked in this line-up. ARLETA is a 7yr old mare who has pulled pole position. She was hampered shortly after the start in he latest run over six furlongs and did well to finish as close to the winner as she did.
