Race 6.
TULLY HO is a 7yr old mare taking on the boys, but she has consistent formlines to her credit and finished second last time out over 950M, beaten by just a head. She is drawn in gate five and will get 3kgs taken off her back thanks to her claiming apprentice. THE INFLAMER showed marked improvement when holding off all challengers to win his last outing over 1100M. He is drawn wide out at gate ten, but seems certain to appreciate the drop in distance. SKILLET is a 4yr old filly who is drawn one outside the latter. She was a little disappointing last time out over five furlongs, but she overraced early that day and that effort can be forgiven. If settling here, she could trouble the top two picks. LUCIENNE is a 6yr old mare who is seldom far off the action. She has the widest draw of twelve to overcome, but on the plus side, she will have 3kgs removed from her allocated weight courtesy of her claiming apprentice.
Race 7.
HARLEY FAT BOY followed up his penultimate victory over this c&d with a fourth-place finish over six furlongs, 1.3L behind the winner next time out. He was making late progress that day and from pole position, he looks to be the value in the race. AMY’S SHADOW is a 3yr old filly taking on males, but she is yet to finish out of the top three in all of her five starts to date. She has her peak run here after winning her comeback outing over five furlongs and then finishing second in her next start over the same trip. She jumps from gate nine and looks to be the immediate danger to the former. FROM THE BUSH won his maiden race last time out over six furlongs when returning from a 24 week break. He is drawn one inside the latter and although taking on stronger today, he could be up to the task on hand.
Race 8.
MATHEMATICS drew clear over the final 200M to put three lengths between himself and the balance of the field to win his last outing over 1100M. He is drawn wideish at eight, but a repeat of that last effort would make him the one to beat here. SKIPPER JOE missed out on his hat-trick in his last start when finishing fifth over six furlongs. He needed to be straightened in the run-in that day and should have finished closer to the winner as a result. From a handy draw of four, he will be looking to bounce back to winning ways here. SUPREME TIMES finished well when 2.3L behind the victor last time out over five furlongs and should enjoy going over the extra ground on offer here. PRALINE is a 2yr old filly taking on older horses and the boys, but she has won two races from just the four career outing, so clearly has some ability. She should not be overlooked in this line-up.
Race 9.
JAWWAAL drops to a lesser center after not being disgraced last time out over seven furlongs. He didn’t get the clearest of runs that day and despite having to negotiate a wide draw of sixteen, he is made the best bet on the day’s program. DUSKY DAMSEL on the other hand has cracked pole position. She is a 4yr old filly taking on males, but she showed plenty of determination when winning her last start over 1300M. If taking to the extra ground today, she could pose a serious threat to the top choice. TWICE THE VALUE is a 5yr old mare who won her last outing over six furlongs despite being friendless in the betting markets. She steps up to the 1420M, but on her last effort this should not present an issue.

Race 6.
SCANTOON has shown solid improvement in his last two runs over the mile and was making good late progress when finishing third in his last outing, just 1.8L off the winner. He jumps from gate seven and could prove difficult to topple here. TRUMPSTA improved in his last start when fourth over 1300M, 2.7L behind the winner. He took a big drop in distance that day after his previous two outings had been over ten furlongs, but he gets a set of blinkers fitted for the first time today and if these have the desired effect, he could trouble the top choice. RIVIVY KENZ won on debut over 1300M when unfancied in the betting markets. He steps up in trip here and is drawn out wide at gate fourteen, but he clearly has some ability and should be considered in this line-up.

Race 7.
BOLTOUTOFTHEBLUE has finished second in his last two outings, the latest of which was over this c&d. He fought all the way down to the wire in that last start and a repeat of that effort would see him right up there when they hit the wire. Despite being drawn in gate eleven, he is made the value bet on today’s card. CHATELAINE is a 4yr old filly taking on the boys, but she has consistent formlines to her credit and finished third last time out over seven furlongs, only just over a length behind the winner. She was forced to race wide that day and given better luck in running today, she should be involved in the finish. He wide draw of sixteen is a bit of a concern, but she should be doing her best work late. CONFUSION on the other hand has cracked pole position. He stayed on well when finishing third in his last outing over 1300M, just under two lengths back.
Race 8.
This looks to be an extremely open contest with many having solid chances of claiming first prize. NEED NEW FRIENDS is a 3yr old filly taking on males, but she showed marked improvement in her last start when finishing second, one length adrift over six furlongs. She was denied a clear run between the 300M and 200M mark and did well to finish as close to the victor as she did. From a handy five draw, she may be the one to side with here. SABOTAGE has finished third in his last two outing, the latest over 1300M. He was making good late progress and should be involved in the finish today. VITANI returns from a 17 week rest and has not had the benefit of a barrier trial. The 5yr old mare is seldom far off the action and finished third over seven furlongs last time out. She is likely to turn in another honest performance today. MAJOR GOWEN has his first run since a lengthy 61 week break from the race track, but the fact that his trainer has brough him back into racing would suggest that he still believes that he has something more to offer. He has only had the two runs, but won over seven furlongs at the second time of asking. Unfortunately, he is drawn very wide at seventeen which won’t make things easy for him.
Race 9.
Another tricky race here and some caution is advised. MAKE IT COUNT has consistent form to his name and finished fourth last time out over six furlongs, 1.3L behind the winner. He has a wide sixteen draw to deal with, but he should use his early gate speed to move across without using up too much energy. A GOOD YARN is seldom far back and if he is able to repeat his penultimate effort when third over the c&d, he should be right up there in the mix. EAGLE SPIRIT finished third in his last start over five furlongs when returning from a 35 week break. He is drawn at six and if not in need of one more outing, he should be included in all bets. WIDESPREAD has his peak run here after finishing fourth last time out over six furlongs. He is drawn wide, but he should be picking off the frontrunners in the closing stages of the contest.

Race 5.
CHARLES SEVEN led from jump to wire when winning his maiden race over this c&d. he put three and a half lengths between himself and the opposition that day and although draw wide at gate ten, his style of racing suggest that this will not be a big problem. As such, he is made the best bet on today’s program. ALEYSA’S MIRACLE is a 3yr old filly taking on the boys. She also won her maiden race last time out, but in this case, over five furlongs. She has an even wider draw of fourteen to negotiate, but she could complete the exacta here. BAUHINIA TED returns from a 17 weeks rest, but he did win his last barrier trial to prove his fitness. He is seldom far off the winner and seems likely to enjoy the drop in distance today.
Race 6.
HEY PAL missed out on his hat-trick last time out over seven furlongs when finishing 1.3L behind the winner. He stepped up in trip that day after posting his two previous wins over 1300M, but he was making good late progress in the latter stages, suggesting that the extra ground should not present him with a problem. He is drawn in gate ten, but nevertheless he should be respected in this line-up. TEARS OF LOVE was a narrow winner of his last outing over nine furlongs, but he won from pillar to post that day and might prove difficult to reel in over the closing stages of today’s contest. RED SATIN is a 3yr old filly taking on males, but she won last time out over seven furlongs at this venue when friendless in the betting markets. She also likes to race up with the speed and should be involved in the finish today.

Race 7.
DREAM BIG is a 4yr old filly taking on boys, but she has pulled pole position. She has made gradual improvement in her last two outings and jumped awkwardly in her latest run over 1300m. In addition, she was also hampered at the 900M marks, so that effort in finishing third was most encouraging. FINUCANE MISSILE on the other hand is drawn the widest of them all, but he goes for his hat-trick here after putting three and a half lengths between himself and the balance of the field last time out over 1300M. The trio of victories is very much on the cards. QUIDNI is not drawn that much better at gate thirteen, but he has consistent formlines to his name and finished strongly last time out when third over 1500M at this track. He should be included in all bets.
Race 8.
ABSOLUT ARTIE attempts his hat-trick here after winning his last two starts over this c&d. He led from jump to wire when winning with a bit in hand in his latest victory and although drawn wide out at gate thirteen, he should be right up there in the firing line. BARACHIEL followed up his win in his penultimate start over seven furlongs with a third place finish over 1500M at this track. He was making good late progress that day and, on that effort, he should relish going the extra distance here. BARGANNON is a versatile sort who will be completely at home over the mile. He finished fifth last time out over 1300M when returning from a 33 week break and from draw three, he should give a good account of himself here. BALBOA ROCKS made big improvement when winning last time out over 1500M. If he is able to confirm that effort here, he should be considered for all bets.
Race 9.
RAIDEN has recorded consistent recent form and finished strongly to win by a head in his last outing over 1100m at this venue. He is drawn in gate seven and appears to be the value in the race. INQUIRY has his first run for his new trainer, but he had consistent form to his name prior to the move and if fully acclimatized in his new surroundings, he should give a good account of himself here. He is however drawn wide in gate fifteen, which won’t make things easy for him. MASTER JAMIE has his peak run today and finished seventh in his last outing over six furlongs. He will be looking to improve on that effort from draw eight.
