Race 6.
UNFAIR DISMISSAL finished well to end up third last time out over the mile. He is drawn wide at gate eleven, but given his style of running, this might not be too big an issue and he is taken to be the value bet on today’s program. BLONDE’S DAY OUT is a 4yr old filly taking on the boys, but she made good late progress to win her maiden race last time out over seven furlongs. She is drawn the widest of them all, but she should be picking off the frontrunners in the run down to the line. PINDI PRIDE is also a 4yr old filly who has her peak run today. She was a bit disappointing in her last outing over this distance when 4.1L back, but a repeat of her effort three runs back when beaten a head over this trip would make her a threat to the top two selections.

Race 7.
LIVE LIKE showed marked improvement to win his last start over seven furlongs by just under a length, despite being friendless in the betting markets. He is drawn at seven and if he is able to reproduce that effort, he could be the one to side with here. MONUMENTAL LADY is a 5yr old mare taking on males, but she is seldom far off the action and was staying on well in her latest outing over seven furlongs. From draw two, she should turn in another honest performance here. IRUBI is a 3yr old filly who has shown gradual improvement in her last two runs and although fining sixth in her last start over seven furlongs, she was only 1.6L behind the winner. She gets a set of blinkers fitted for the first time and if these have the desired effect, she should be involved in the finish. LADY CELLARBRATION is a 4yr old filly who was a jump to wire victor last time out over seven furlongs to post her maiden win. She takes on stronger here, but may be up to the task on hand.

Race 8.
With the late scratchings of seven runners, two of which could have been his main rivals, the way may have been cleared for PEREIRA to record his second career victory. He has his peak run here and was making good late progress when finishing fourth last time out over this six furlong journey. He has a handy draw of two and could be the one that they all have to beat. MELWAY is a 3yr old filly taking on boys, but she won her last outing over five furlongs and will have her cause assisted by having 3kgs taken off her back thanks to her claiming apprentice. MEGAMEA is also a 3yr old filly. She has her first run since a 12 week rest and has not had the benefit of a barrier trial, but she returns to going over six furlongs after being a tad disappointing when stepping up to seven furlongs last time out. A repeat of her two runs over this trip before that last effort would see her right up there in the mix.

Race 9.
As with the previous race, the six late scratchings may come to the aid of MARINE BELLE, who is a 3yr old filly taking on males. She is looking to complete her hat-trick here after winning her last outing over six furlongs. She is now drawn in gate eight and should use her early gate speed to move across without using up too much energy. MOUNTAIN IBIS has cracked pole position and recorded his maiden win last time out over five furlongs when returning from a 26 week break. He bumps stronger here, but may prove good enough to secure his double. ROYAL TYKE followed up his penultimate win over five furlongs with a solid second place finish next time out over the same trip. He is drawn one inside the top pick and should be a factor in this line-up. PEARL PRINCESS is also a 3yr old filly who attempts to record her trio of victories today after winning her last two starts over 1100M. She returns from a lengthy 34 weeks off the race track and has not had a barrier trial, so her fitness will have to be taken on trust, but if not too much in need of the outing, she should be right up there when they hit the wire.

Race 5.
I DID IT AGAIN showed plenty of toe when winning his last outing over five furlongs. He steps up to the six furlongs today, but the manner in which he dealt with his opposition that day would suggest that he double in very much on the cards. From his handy draw of three, he is taken as the best bet on today’s card. BORELLA drops in trip after finishing two lengths back last time out over seven furlongs to the six furlongs of his penultimate start where he ended up 3.3L behind the winner. He has a wideish draw of nine, but should still be involved in the finish here. BUOYANCY is the stable companion of the latter and was staying on well in his last outing over six furlongs, just 1.7L behind the victor. He has cracked pole position and makes a solid back-up for the yard.

Race 6.
ROCCO and YANKEE TANGO renew their rivalry today after each has finished in front of the other in their last two starts over 1900M. They are drawn in gates seven and three respectively and there should not be too much separating the pair when the hit the line. UNBIASED steps up in distance after finishing second last time out over seven furlongs and could well be looking for this greater test of stamina. If this is the case, he should be a big danger to the top two picks. BEST HOFFA stayed on well when finishing a neck back last time out over a mile, suggesting that the step up in distance will be to his liking.

Race 7.
CEDARWOOD followed up his penultimate win over five furlongs with a second place finish next time out over six furlongs, just a half length behind the winner. He only got going late that day, but from a handy gate four, he should be right up there in the mix. BULLION WOLF is seldom too far off the actions and did finish second over this trip in his penultimate start. He jumps from gate two and looks to be the immediate danger to the top choice. BRYAN’S BABE is a 5yr old mare taking on the boys, but she was making steady late progress in her last outing over five furlongs and is sure to enjoy going over the extra ground that is on offer today.

Race 8.
AUTMED has shown marked improvement in his last two outings, winning his latest over this c&d by almost a length. He kept going well that day to fight off the chasing pack and if showing the same determination here, he could prove to be the value in the contest. His draw if five is a plus. JUSTALAD won his last start over seven furlongs, but has had no luck with his draw today, being stuck out wide at gate sixteen. He is almost certainly going to be dropped out of the race from the jump, but should however be doing his best work late. HUTCHO just failed to chase down the winner last time out over seven furlongs when ending up only a neck behind the victor. He gets a handy draw of two and should be involved in the finish today.
