MA BLACK was super-impressive when winning her last start over 1000m on this course. She raced from a prominent position, quickened up well and drew clear of the opposition. She would have come on from the run and can follow up.

TCHAIKOVSKY followed up his maiden victory with an equally impressive win over this C&D. It must be noted that the horse that finished third that day has come out and won since. He meets a similar type of field this afternoon and can notch up the hat-trick.

CRACKLIN’ ROSE finished 0.75 lengths behind TREASURE HUNT last time. She is 1.5kgs better off at the weights today and that should be enough for the tables to be turned. She is having her peak run and should be cherry-ripe. From her good draw of four, she can return to winning ways.
