THE BOSTON ROSE forms part of a strong coupling from the Snaith yard and this chestnut daughter of Silvano reverts to sprinting after a slightly below-par last showing over seven furlongs. Of course she had an eye-catching five furlong sprint prior to that and this distance should be ideal for her. Her top jockey should negotiate the unfavourable barrier.

MIYABI GOLD is well-bred and she should build on her fair sprint debut over six furlongs on this track four weeks ago. The daughter of Silvano should relish the extra furlong and she is well drawn in her first outing around the turn.

SPRING GOLD relished the extra ground as he ran on eye-catchingly for 3rd in a stronger line-up over this c & d three weeks ago. He finished narrowly in front of the favourite BLOW IN THE BOX that day but is now 2.5kgs better off at the weights and does appear well-handicapped after perhaps escaping with just a one pound penalty.

DOUBLE BLACK reverts to sprinting after two fair performances over further and the chestnut daughter of Twice Over is well-handicapped to produce a solid effort here. Of course she was impressive when finishing strongly to win her debut over this c & d going away earlier this campaign. The likely suicidal speed should play into her plans.

The lack of pace is a big concern in this low-key fillies and mares handicap over a mile but still the Love Supreme formline should be afforded much attention. The first selection FOXY PRINCESS should have finished much closer but for traffic problems that day. Her top jockey retains the ride and the bay filly could have a major say from her decent barrier position today.
