The lightly raced NATURE CHIEF from the J Ong stable had two close-up post-maiden runs. The four-year-old bay gelding tries the extra and still has plenty of scope. ROOK’S GAMBIT ran as favourite on last start and placed at Singapore, interesting to note top jockey Nunes retains the ride.

OCTOBER has two placings from three runs this prep and amongst the place getters last start running second at Singapore, in with a chance. SEAMLESSLY from the S Crutchley yard ran fifth on last start at Singapore and returns to shorter trip, must have a say here.

RACE 3 – Time: 07:00 | Class 4 Handicap | 1000m

SONG OF NATURE from J Ong’s yard produced an eye-catching comeback run over 1200m. The five-year-old bay gelding drops to the minimum distance and will strip fitter today. CONDOR from the T Fitzsimmons stable finished fifth last start at Singapore, looks to be the real danger in the race.

RACE 4 – Time: 07:30 | Open Maiden | 1400m

LIM’S SINAI has placed in two attempts this campaign and faded to finish on the winners’ heels last start at Singapore, commands respect. CHINA PEARL ran eighth last start at Singapore and should run fitter for past attempts, should be thereabouts.

RACE 5 – Time: 08:00 | Class 5 Handicap | 1800m

LUCK OF MASTER is highly rated with Manoel Nunes retaining the ride and three of six wins have come from dry ground, perfectly placed. ATLAS from the J Ong stable finished four lengths off the winner last start at Singapore and up in trip and must be respected here.

RACE 6 – Time: 08:30 Class 4 | Handicap | 1000m

RED DOT from the David Kok yard eye-catching comeback run over 1100m when beaten a short-head second. The five-year-old bay gelding will strip much fitter today and looks the one to beat here. BABY TWINS finished three-quarters of a length back from the leader last start at Singapore and won once this prep at the track seven runs back, respect.

RACE 7 – Time: 09:00 | Class 5 Handicap | 1400m

CIZEN LUCKY placed at long odds last start at Singapore and four from five wins have been in the dry, must be respected. CROWN DANCING from the R Lim stable coming off a win at Singapore and all wins have come when faced with dry ground, interesting to note Nunes retains the ride.

RACE 8 – Time: 09:30 | Class 4 Handicap | 1800m

WINNING STRIDE from the Steven Burridge stable runner-up in his last four starts. The five-year-old bay gelding will strip much fitter and can go one better today. SMART STAR ran on strongly to win last start at Singapore and goes for the hat-trick after winning two in a row over this track, respect.

RACE 9 – Time: 10:00 | Class 5 Handicap -1200m

SUPER BABY was narrowly beaten as a favourite last start at Singapore over the minimum distance. The three-year-old bay gelding steps back up in trip today and has strong claims here. SUPERIOR COAT showed good improvement in his latest effort over this course and distance. The son of Coats Choice is well-drawn today and must be respected here.

Race 10 – Time: 10:30 | Class 4 Handicap | 1800m

LIGHTNING STRIKE back from a seven-week let-up and looking to make it four in a row after another win at Singapore last start will take a power of beating. LIM’S BESTBREAKER in the money last start running third at Singapore and all five wins have come in the dry, in with a chance.

Race 11 – Time: 11:00 | Novice | 1200m

Selections: 14/11/1

The lightly raced SACRED BUDDY has won and placed in both races so far and was narrowly beaten as a favourite last start at Singapore, one to follow. STRIKE GOLD from the Ricardo Le Grange stable showed good improvement in latest over this course and distance. The 3-year-old bat colt will strip much fitter today and must be respected here.

Race 12 – Time: 11:30 | Class 4 Handicap | 1200m

MAKIN from the Steven Burridge stable is enjoying strong form with two wins from 11 attempts this campaign and has the speed to overcome the widest barrier, a winning chance. SILO is yet to miss the places and goes well at Singapore, top jockey Vlad Duric takes the ride and could upset here.
