BABY CRYSTAL caught the eye in his debut run over this C&D when pipped at the wire by Flying High. He should come on nicely with that run under the belt and is seriously difficult to oppose in this opening contest. SEE U AGAIN was below-par last time in a race where Super Commander went gun to tape and will have a say if reproducing his prior form.
07:15 – Race 2 | Class 5 | 1400m

WINWIN THIRTYTHREE finished well last time despite racing wide into the straight. He is 3kgs better off at the weights with SUNNY BABY and should be one of the leading contenders with Bowman in the saddle. CHIU CHOW BROTHER finished 1.8 lengths in-front of SUNNY BABY last time. The pair meet on similar weight terms and there shouldn’t be too much between them when they hit the line.
07:45 – Race 3 | Class 4 | 1200m | All Weather

THUNDERSTRIKE finished well last time on the All-Weather when runner-up behind Fiery Diamond. He should be cherry-ripe having his third run after a rest and is fancied with Hewitson aboard. YOUTHFUL DEAL found one better on this course last time. He is an unexposed Lor inmate and can easily earn his maiden win in this type of line-up.
08:15 – Race 4 | Class 4 | 1600m

ACCELERANDO finished strongly up the inside rail last time behind TURQUOISE ALPHA. He is 1.5kgs better off at the weights and is the narrow first selection. OSCAR GLORY was only caught late last time by the top selection. He is nicely weighted with an apprentice claimer up and should make his presence felt.
09:10 – Race 5 | Class 3 | 1200m

WINNING ICEY stayed on strongly up the inside rail last time. He produced back-to-back wins under Ferraris in September and definitely represents decent each-way value for Hong Kong racing pundits. MIDORI BEAUTY has been narrowly-beaten in his last two starts. He was unfortunately steadied off heels last time out and this chestnut will be looking to make amends.
09:40 – Race 6 | Class 4 | 1400m

CHING was running on too late last time when beaten a neck by Young Victory and won’t have to improve much to win in this type of field. SINGAPORE SPIRIT led with a furlong to go last time, was outrun late by the top selection and will be seeking revenge on his recent conqueror.
10:10 – Race 7 | Class 1 | 1600m

BEAUTYVERSE won his first Hong Kong start defeating KEEFY by the narrowest of margins. He is likely to adopt similar tactics from gate 2 and will be difficult to peg back at the wire. BELUGA fought off Blaze Warrior in his recent win. He may be at best over 1400m but has won over this distance and can threaten the top selection.
10:40 – Race 8 | Class 3 | 1600m

SWEET ENCOUNTER was very unlucky last time out when runner-up behind Stunning Impact. He should have arguably won on that occasion and is the confident first selection in this line-up. The Millard-trained GIFT OF LIFELINE ran on from far back when beaten just over a length by Amazing One Plus. He has cracked a neat draw and should give another good account of himself.
11:15 – Race 9 | Class 3 | 1200m

BEAUTY ETERNAL was held up for a number of strides last time when beaten a neck by Science Patch. The second horse (Good Buddy) has since franked the form and this looks one of the better bets on the card. SUPERB CAPATILIST was an impressive debut winner. He is likely to lead affairs and with the apprentice claim, can make it two from two.
11:50 – Race 10 | Class 2 | 1400m

PACKING TREADMILL was well-weighted last time and fought off Super Fortune gamely. This chestnut is a four-time winner from six starts and there looks to be plenty more to come from this individual. FIND MY LOVE placed in a UK Group 3 last time. He is a talented son of Frankel and must also be considered in the lucky last!
