SUPER WIN DRAGON is coming off a hat-trick of wins on the All Weather. He is in the form of his life and should take a power of beating in this opening contest. KA YING MASTER finished 3.8 lengths behind the top selection in his penultimate start. He is 3.5kgs better off at the weights and should finish closer as a result.

GOLDEN MISSION produced a fair last effort on this surface behind The Multiplier. He should be cherry-ripe having his third run after a rest and it is encouraging that Brazilian ace De Sousa has kept faith in the ride. ACA POWER was a beaten favorite on turf last time out. His last good run was on the All Weather and it will be no surprise to see him finish in the money.
7:15 – Race 3 | Class 2 | 1600m

BEAUTY LIVE was beaten just over a length by the talented Tuchel last time. He finished close-up in his only attempt over a mile and will have plenty of followers. ALL FOR ST PAUL’S has reached the frame in his last two starts. He is likely to race on the speed and may be difficult to peg back at the wire.
7:45 – Race 4 | Class 5 | 1200m

M M JOHNNY has been narrowly beaten in his last two starts. He has some decent form lines to his credit and despite only being a one-time winner has strong claims in this type of field. RAGING BLAZE is still win-less but he comes in at the bottom of the weights and could be one to cause an upset.

STAND UP has found one better in his last three starts on the All Weather and is difficult to oppose on form. He finished a nose behind SHINING FORTUNE in his last start and is now 2kgs better off at the weights. TURBO POWER and SON PAK FU finished alongside each other on turf last time. The pair meet on the same weight terms and there shouldn’t be too much separating them when they hit the line.

FLYING MOJITO finished just over a length in-front of DRAGON PRIDE when beaten the narrowest of margins and the booking of Purton to ride suggests he is fit enough to win now. CHING hasn’t finished far off them in his last three outings and should be right there if enjoying the extra furlong on offer.

EXCELLENT FIGHTER looked as if he knew all about it when getting up to beat Double Show in his debut performance. He will have come on nicely with that run under the belt and can make it quick back-to-back wins. FLYING HIGH finished just under two lengths behind the top selection in his penultimate start. He is 1.5kgs better off at the weights and could be one to fill the exact spot.

YOUNG VICTORY followed up his recent win with another solid effort when a neck behind Marado. He is nicely handicapped and from his neat draw should be one of the leading contenders. RUN RUN BUDDY produced an eye-catching debut on Christmas Eve and is drawn alongside the top selection.

FIVE G PATCH finished just over a length behind NATURAL STORM last time. He is 2kgs better off at the weights and definitely represents decent each-way value for Hong Kong racing pundits. HIT THE SHOT finished a length behind CHAMPION DRAGON in his last start. He is 5kgs better off at the weights and can run into the money.

BEAUTY ETERNAL is his own worst enemy at times, but he is loaded with ability. He had to be steadied off heels last time, finished right behind SCIENCE PATCH and with a clear passage in running should be the one to beat. YOUTHFUL LEADER brings attractive All Weather form into this contest and is an interesting runner. MAGNIAC is coming off a hat-trick of wins at Belmont Park (Aus) and also merits healthy respect in the lucky last!
