ERNEST FEELING has cracked pole and wasn’t disgraced last time behind Mission Smart. He takes on a weak Class 5 field and is capable of winning this opening contest. SALUTATION has moderate recent form but has been taking on stronger. Karis Teetan takes the ride and could be one to cause an upset.

BUNDLE OF CHARM comes in at the top of the weights but he is a horse that still has plenty scope for improvement. He followed up his debut victory well when beaten just under two lengths by Sweet Diamond. He is likely to race on the speed and should be right there at the finish. BRAVE DREAMS is much better than his poor last performance. He was only beaten 1.5 lengths in his penultimate run and is capable of returning to best form.
08:00 – Race 3 | Class 4 Handicap | 1650m

CHIRON has finished runner-up in his last two starts and should be cherry-ripe having his third run after a rest. He is well-drawn and has shown an affinity for this surface. SMART PATCH finished runner-up over this C&D last time and should be one of the leading contenders. He meets BLOTTING PAPER on the same weight terms and there shouldn’t be too much separating them at the wire.
08:30 – Race 4 | Class 4 Handicap | 1400m

RAINBOW LIGHT has only been beaten a couple of lengths in his last two starts and finished runner-up behind the progressive Tuchel last time. He has cracked pole and is working towards a win. The South African-bred ROYAL AGILITY was a narrow winner over this C&D last time. He shoulders a handy galloping weight and will just have to overcome the wide draw to have a say.
09:00 – Race 5 | Class 4 Handicap | 1800m

RIGHT AS RAIN has consistent form lines to his credit and was only beaten a nose by Robot Warrior last time. He managed to finish in-front of VUKAN on that occasion and is the narrow first selection. LUCKY MISSILE finished well last time when beaten just over a length by E Legend and is the ride of former South African champion apprentice Luke Ferraris.
09:35 – Race 6 | Class 4 Handicap | 1400m

GANG OF BROTHERS was a narrow winner over this C&D last time. He meets FIERY DIAMOND on the same weight terms and can make it quick back-to-back wins. SUPER HIGHWAY has completed the quartet in his last two starts, is well-drawn and can run into the money.
10:05 – Race 7 | Class 3 Handicap | 2000m

INTREPID WINNER meets TOTAL POWER on the same weight terms and has the advantage of an inside barrier. This Millard-trained inmate looks nicely handicapped and should go close to winning this contest. KING’S CAPITAL ran on the All-weather last time but is a versatile sort and has the ability to enter the frame.

ROMANTIC COMBO backed up his favorite status in fine fashion last time. He is 2kgs worse off at the weights with AMAZING TEENS but the manner in which he won suggests he can make it back-to-back wins. SO WE JOY was right behind the top two selections last time and is another horse that must be considered.
11:10 – Race 9 | Class 2 Handicap | 1400m

NAVAS TWO ran on from far back last time when pipped a nose at the wire by the talented Lucky Sweynesse. He is a decent type and looks one of the better bets on the card. THE GOLDEN SCENERY finished just over a length behind the top selection last time and is 1.5kgs better off at the weights. FANTASTIC TREASURE holds the record for fastest time over this C&D and merits respect despite having to shoulder top weight.
11:45 – Race 10 | Class 3 Handicap | 1400m

PRIVATE ROCKET has cracked pole and was only beaten just under a length by Excellent Daddy over six furlongs last time. He should enjoy the extra 200m and definitely represents decent each-way value for Hong Kong racing pundits. READY TO WIN was beaten narrowly by Star Brite last time and can challenge the top selection in the lucky last!
