PODIUM has finished a nose behind the winner in his last two starts and is most deserving of a win. Hugh Bowman takes the ride and he may be able to coax a little bit extra out of him where it matters most. MANYTHANKS FOREVER followed up his recent win with a good runner-up berth. He can feature in this opening contest if getting across from the wide draw.

TOP DRAGON finished a neck behind Blazing Wind in his second start. He is coming along the right way and looks one of the better bets on the card. BEAUTY MISSILE finished just under a length behind Sky Joy last time. If confirming his recent improvement, he should be involved in the fight to the finish.
07:30 – Race 3 | Class 4 | 1200m

DRAGON FOUR SEAS is in a good space and has the speed to overcome the wide draw. He is useful over 1200 – 1400m and should be involved at the business end. MAGNIFIQUE won his debut by a length. It must be noted that the second-placed horse Enjoy Golf ran a decent race next time out.
08:00 – Race 4 | Class 4 | 1400m

TELECOM DRAGON has finished close-up behind the winner in recent outings. The manner in which he finishes off his races suggests he will enjoy the extra furlong on offer. MAGNIFICENT NINE drops back into Class 4 and should pose a threat with Brenton Avdulla aboard. FORERUNNER has cracked pole and it will be no surprise to see him in the winner’s box again.
08:30 – Race 5 | Class 4 | 1400m

DRACO’S last two starts have been good. He is neatly drawn in barrier 2 and should go close if seeing out the extra 200m. MASTER OF ALL is nicely handicapped and hardly ever runs a bad race. Alex Badel takes the ride and he may be able to get the best out of him. WIN SPEED must also be strongly considered.
09:00 – Race 6 | Class 4 | 1800m

ME TIME has consistent form and should be one of the leading contenders. However, there is a slight concern that he prefers racing at Happy Valley. The grey CERVIN went close over this course and distance in his penultimate start. He comes in with a light weight and should be up to the task at hand.
09:35 – Race 7 | Class 3 | 1800m

FAMILY JEWEL was a beaten favorite before given a 2-month layoff. Caspar Fownes appears to have found the perfect race for him and he should be one of the leading contenders. STEPS AHEAD is better than his below par last effort. If finding his previous form, he should have a say in the outcome of this Class 3 contest.
10:05 – Race 8 | Class 2 | 1600m

The South African-bred MID WINTER WIND was an eye-catching winner in his first start in Hong Kong. He shifted out and quickened up nicely to win going away. He steps into Class 2 for the first time and is clearly loaded with ability. KARMA finished 1.5 lengths behind SUNLIGHT POWER last time. He is nicely weighted and can give the top selection a good run for his money.
10:35 – Race 9 | Class 3 | 1000m

CRIMSON FLASH finished second behind FAST RESPONDER in his Hong Kong debut. He is 4kgs better off at the weights and definitely represents good each-way value for Hong Kong racing pundits. MAJESTIC EXPRESS turns around quickly after racing one-week ago. He has decent form lines to his credit and should give another good account of himself.
11:10 – Race 10 | Class 3 | 1200m
Selections: 5/6/1
PRINCE OF PORTY won his last start by the narrowest of margins. He comes in with a handy galloping weight and will be looking to make it quick back-to-back wins. FRANCIS MEYNELL produced a good run from a wide draw last time and is capable of featuring in this type of field. SWIFT ASCEND is the class horse with top weight and he cannot be ignored.
11:45 – Race 11 | Class 3 | 1600m
Selections: 7/13/8
SKY HEART finished 1.5 lengths behind NEW FUTURE FOLKS last time. He is 2.5kgs better off at the weights which should be enough to turn the form around. ANOTHER WORLD has solid recent form to his name. He should appreciate the step up to a mile. MORGAN SUCCESS is next in line.
