6.45 Race 1 Class 5 – 1400m

FOREMOST TEDDY is still a maiden but he has run some decent runs over a mile and may be suited to the 1400m. He is a tentative first selection. FAIRY HORSE raced from too far back last time. He is well-drawn in barrier 2 and should give a better account of himself. CASHISCASH can upset.
7.15 Race 2 Class 5 – 1200m
Selections: 9/2/7
PATCH OF WATCH has solid recent form to his credit. He is likely to race on the speed and is nicely weighted with apprentice Britney Wong aboard. HINOKAMI KAGURA finished 2.2 lengths behind CHEER FOR SOUTH last time. He is 2.5kgs better off at the weights and there shouldn’t be too much separating them in the run down to the line.
7.45 Race 3 Class 4 – 1200m
Selections: 1/6/2
RISING FORCE really caught the eye on debut with an impressive victory on this course. He has trialed well since and looks one of the better bets on the card. FUN N FUN TOGETHER finished a neck behind the winner last time and Zac Purton keeps faith in the ride. He could be one to fill the exacta spot.
8.15 Race 4 Class 4 – 1800m
Selections: 5/2/7
ORIENTAL SMOKE finished 2.2 lengths behind YOUTH POWER last time. He is 1kg worse off at the weights and may have to settle for the same result. FIREFOOT is better than his below par last effort. Andrea Atzeni takes the ride and he may be able to coax a little bit extra out of him where it matters most.
9.10 Race 5 Class 4 – 1000m
Selections: 3/1/11
HEROIC MASTER’S last start is best ignored as he was cramped for galloping room at the 700m. He meets a moderate Class 4 field and would not be a shock winner. FUN ELITE finished a length behind the winner in Class 3 last time and that form is good enough to win a race of this nature. Respect.
9.40 Race 6 Class 4– 1200m
Selections: 8/1/10
RAINBOW SEVEN showed promise on debut when runner-up behind Goldentronicmighty. He should come on nicely with that run under the belt. AURORA PATCH drops into Class 4 for the first time. He is better than his last two starts suggest and would not be a shock winner in this type of field.
10.10 Race 7 Class 3 – 1200m
Selections: 7/1/9
SOLID SHALAA is suited to the All Weather and won his last start by a neck. He is well-drawn in barrier 2 and should give another good account of himself. GUMMY GUMMY has solid recent form on this course. He comes in at the top of the weights and looks the biggest danger. Go close.
10.40 Race 8 Class 4 – 1400m
Selections: 2/5/1
WITH A SMILE won his last start by the narrowest of margins. He remains in Class 4 and will be looking to make it quick back-to-back wins. QUICK CONTRIBUTION produced a good third-place finish last time. He is having his third run after a rest and should be cherry-ripe. Must include.
11.15 Race 9 Class 3 – 1200m
Selections: 4/5/6
PAKISTAN LEGACY finished a couple of lengths behind MODULECONSTRUCTION last time. He is 2.5kgs better off at the weights and there shouldn’t be too much separating them in the run down to the line. SUPER INFINITY will relish the drop back to 1200m and must be strongly considered.
11.50 Race 10 Class 3 – 1600m
Selections: 9/2/11
DEFNITIVE is better than his moderate last start at Happy Valley. He is likely to find the front in this field and may be difficult to peg back in the closing stages. He represents good each-way value in the lucky last. STAR MAC finished a length behind HUGE WAVE last time. The pair meet on similar weight terms and are both genuine contenders. MAGNIFICENT NINE is next best.
