7.00 – Race 2 | Class 4 – 1200m

CALL ME GORGEOUS produced a fair first effort in Class 4. He is a tentative first selection in a wide-open contest. BEAUTY MISSILE is better than his moderate last start behind GOLDENTRONICMIGHTY. If reproducing his penultimate run, he should be right there.
7.30 – Race 3 | Class 4 – 1200m

HONEST WITNESS has recorded two fair runs to date. He is likely to race on the speed and can notch up his first career win. COPARTNER FLEET is a first timer from the Lui yard that could be worth following. LOVEISINTHEAIR is having his first run at Sha Tin and the booking of James McDonald will boost his chances.
8.00 – Race 4 | Class 2 – 1400m

DANCING CODE ran on strongly up the inside rail last time when beaten 1.5 lengths by Lady’s Choice. He comes in with a handy galloping weight and should be one of the leading contenders. The South African bred MID WINTER WIND reunites with Luke Ferraris. If putting his best foot forward, he should give a good account of himself.
8.30 – Race 5 | Class 4 – 1400m

MONARCH COUNTY followed up his recent win with a third-place finish behind Patch Of Stars. He is nicely weighted with apprentice Ellis Wong aboard and the combination merit healthy respect. MEOWTH drops back into Class 4 and he should give the top selection a good run for his money.
9.00 – Race 6 | Class 4– 1600m

WROTE A NEW PAGE finished half a length behind FORTUNE BOY last time. He is 2kgs better off at the weights which should be enough to turn the tables. SPECIAL HEDGE finished third in the race mentioned above. He should be involved in the outcome of this Class 4 contest.
9.40 – Race 7 | Class 4 – 1400m

SHAMUS STORM was only beaten a head last time and a first career win looks overdue. It is encouraging that Zac Purton has kept faith in the ride. MAX QUE is coming off back-to-back runner-up finishes. He had to be checked at the 350m last time which compromised his chances. Go close.
10.10 – Race 8 | Group 1 – 2400m
Selections: 1/2/4
VOYAGE BUBBLE was beaten a nose over a mile last time. He tries 2400m for the first time and should take a power of beating if seeing out the extra distance on offer. He is a classy individual. DUBAI HONOUR finished second in a Group 1 at Randwick last time. If all went well with his travels, he should produce another bold performance.
10.45 – Race 9 | Class 3 – 1000m

JUSTIFYING finished 2.5 lengths behind DREAM WINNER last time. He is 3kgs better off at the weights and there shouldn’t be too much separating them in the run down to the line. ALSONSO has been narrowly beaten in his last two starts. He can go one better. SUPER FORTUNE is next best.
11.20 – Race 10 | Class 3 – 2000m
Selections: 8/6/2
GOLD MASTER was beaten the narrowest of margins last time. He comes in with a handy galloping weight and is drawn nicely in barrier 2. He looks poised to crack another win. WINNING WING had plenty of followers last time. He didn’t disgrace himself in third and should be a factor again.
11.55 – Race 11 | Class 3 – 1400m

SUPER EXPRESS followed up his debut win with an equally impressive effort. He jumps into Class 3 for the first time and definitely represents good each-way value for Hong Kong racing pundits. AKASHVANI is lightly raced and still on the upgrade. He should appreciate the extra 200m on offer.
