ALL IS READY won on this course three runs ago. He reunites with Luke Ferraris and should give another good account of himself. SUPER JOY has finished runner-up in his last two starts on this course and he could be the one to fill the exacta spot in this opening contest.

PATCH OF THETA produced a promising debut effort over the minimum trip. He should appreciate the extra furlong on offer and will have plenty of followers. SIGHT HERO is better than his last two starts suggest. He is taking on weaker opposition and is capable of finding a form return.

WINNING DATA has won his last two starts well under Karis Teetan and the combination are in search of a hat-trick. The only concern is the wide draw. SOLID SHALAA finished just under a length behind Fighting Machine last time. He can confirm his recent improvement with Hugh Bowman in the saddle.
08:30 – Race 4 | Class 4 | 1800m

JUBILATION ran on strongly to win his last start over ten furlongs. He is in a good space and could be one of the better bets on the card. MISTER DAPPER finished four lengths behind the top selection in his last start. He is 2.5kgs better off at the weights and should finish closer as a result.
09:00 – Race 5 | Class 3 | 1000m

CALIFORNIA TOUCH finished just under a length behind NORTHERN BEACHES last time. He is slightly better off at the weights and there shouldn’t be too much separating the pair in the run down to the line. The top weight FLYING HIGH has placed in last two starts over this course and distance. He is a 1000m specialist and it will be no surprise to see him in the winner’s enclosure.
09:35 – Race 6 | Class 4 – 1200m

REGENT GLORY seemed to really relish the All Weather surface in his recent win. He has cracked a neat draw and can make it quick back-to-back victories. MAGIC SUPREME finished just under a length behind the top selection last time. He is 1.5kgs better off at the weights and there shouldn’t be too much separating them at the finish.
10:05 – Race 7 | Group 3 | 1000m
Selections: 3/1/6
DUKE WAI finished half a length behind VICTOR THE WINNER in a Group 1 event last time. He is 3kgs better off at the weights which should be enough to turn the tables. SEASONS WIT was beaten the narrowest of margins on the All Weather last time. He will relish the drop back to 1000m and can feature with a light weight.
10:40 – Race 8 | Class 3 | 1200m

The grey TORONADO PHANTOM ran on powerfully to win his last start on this course. He is well-drawn and can make it two in a row. CALL ME DANDY finished a neck behind the top selection in his last start. He is 4kgs better off at the weights and can turn the tables on his recent conqueror.
11:15 – Race 9 | Class 3 | 1400m

The Douglas Whyte trained BLUE MARLIN produced a fair last effort when 2.2 lengths behind Fun Together. He has finally cracked a good draw and definitely represents decent each-way value for Hong Kong racing pundits. THE HEIR has placed in all three of his starts in Hong Kong. He is nicely handicapped and should give another good account of himself.
11:50 – Race 10 | Class 2 | 1600m

FLAMING RABBIT, HELIOS EXPRESS and DANCING CODE all finished on top of each other in a race won by Taj Dragon last time. The trio meet on similar weight terms and they should all be competitive in the lucky last. SUPER SUNNY SING is talented and must also be included in all bets.
