FALCON COURT meets a moderate field in today’s opener and he looks to have the best form in the race. He finished just under a length behind the winner last time and is a tentative first choice. DIAMOND SOARS had a difficult run from a wide draw last time. If putting his best foot forward, he should have a say in the outcome of this Class 5 contest.

PATCH OF WATCH finished a neck behind the winner last time and is edging closer to a win. He comes in with a light weight and can feature. WIND SPEEDER is another light weight in with a shout. He has cracked pole and must be strongly considered. SONIC BOOM is next in line.

NATURAL HIGH has not finished too far behind the winner in his last two starts. He is still winless in Hong Kong but meets the right field and should be one of the leading contenders. LEAN MASTER produced a fair last effort on turf. He gets 3kgs taken off his back and could be one to fill the exacta spot.

All three of RELIABLE PROFIT’S career wins have come on this course. Hugh Bowman knows him well and he will give him all the necessary assistance in the saddle. VIVA CHALEUR produced a fair last effort over a mile and can feature if seeing out the extra 150m. SNOWALOT is next best.
14:45 – Race 5 | Class 4 | 1200m

VULCANUS brings good recent All Weather form into this contest. He has been beaten narrowly in his last two starts and looks one of the better bets on the card. FORTUNE WARRIOR has decent recent form to his credit. He is nicely handicapped and should be doing his best work at the business end.
15:15 – Race 6 | Class 4 | 1650m

SKY VINO has placed in his last two runs on turf. He should give a good account of himself if suited to the All Weather. LUCKY TOUCH was beaten narrowly on this course last time and will be looking to make amends. PRECISION GOAL is in good form and should be able to handle the step-up in class.
15:45 – Race 7 | Class 2 | 1200m

FULL CREDIT finished half a length behind a decent sort last time. He has run two good races on this course and should be one of the leading contenders. TOMODACHI KOKOROE produced a fair last effort behind Bottomuptogether. He is drawn alongside the top selection and should give him a good run for his money.
16:15 – Race 8 | Class 3 | 1200m

MASK RIDER was an impressive debut winner on this course. He is well-drawn in barrier 2 and should come on nicely with that run under the belt. PACKING BOLE followed up his recent win well when beaten 1.8 lengths by Full Credit. It will be intriguing to see if that form is given a boost in Race 7.

GLORIOUS SUCCESS is in a good space and went down narrowly when tried on this course last time. He is drawn wide but definitely represents decent each-way value for Hong Kong racing pundits. YELLOWFIN is nicely weighted with apprentice Britney Wong aboard and he should give a good account of himself in the lucky last!
