BACK IN BUSINESS lost a length leaving the start over 1200m on the Vaal Classic course last time and finished off his race well. He won his first two career outings on this course. The son of William Longsword would have come on from his comeback run and should strip much fitter. He steps up to the 1400m and if seeing out the extra distance on offer, he can return to winning ways.

RICHARD THE FIRST was not beaten far in the Non-Black Type WSB Grand Heritage last time. The manner in which he stayed on at the finish that day was encouraging. The son of William Longsword takes a drop- in class and Muzi Yeni may be able to coax that little bit extra out of him where it matters most.

It must be noted that Gimme A Nother has come out and won again since. The manner in which she finishes off her races suggests that she will love the rise to 1800m. She is the best weighted runner in this contest and can return to winning ways.
