VANDERBILT jumped awkwardly and was a bit disappointing when finishing fifth last time out over 1450m, four and a half lengths adrift of the victor, but that was his first run for his new stable. If he is now fully settled into his new environment, he should be one of the leading lights in the race.

LAETITIA’S ANGEL is a speedy sort who has finished second in her last three outings over a variety of different sprint distances, the latest over six furlongs, 1.25 lengths behind the winner. She will be looking to chalk up her fifth career victory today.
