Netball South Africa (NSA) have released the fixtures of Spar National Championships 2024 to take place at Ellis Park Netball Arena in Johannesburg from 1-7 December 2024.
Usually staged in August to align with Women’s Month and National Women’s Day, this year’s competition was postponed due to the Paris Olympic Games.
Defending champions Johannesburg Senior A, who have claimed the title three times in a row, will begin their campaign against eThekwini Senior A at 10:00 am on Monday.
Approximately 36 teams will compete in the U21 tournament this year, while 53 will participate in the senior competition. In the Senior A category, 10 districts will vie for the title currently held by Johannesburg.
In addition to the district teams, South Africa’s National Under 21 Netball team, the Spar Baby Proteas, will also participate in the senior competition this year.
