South Africa’s netball teams, both women’s and men’s, made a strong start on the opening day of the Africa Netball Cup in Namibia.
The tournament kicked off on Monday with the South African men’s team facing Lesotho in the opening match. The defending champions showcased their dominance, securing a convincing 98-8 victory.
Later, the men’s team faced hosts Namibia, clinching another impressive win with a 67-38 score.
Meanwhile, the Spar Proteas made an equally strong start, defeating Kenya 74-29 in their opening game.
The Proteas were in control from the outset, as they finished the first half with a comfortable lead.
Next, the Proteas will face Malawi on Tuesday at 6 PM, while the men’s team will face Zimbabwe at the same time.
