Mixed emotions from Kaizer Chiefs fans following a 4-0 defeat

Kaizer Chiefs fans have shared their different views regarding their defeat against Young Africans for Toyota Cup.

While others have taken this defeat with heavy hearts others are still optimistic that their team will perform so much better at the league.

The fans flooded into Kaizer Chiefs comment section on Facebook under the post regarding the full-time score to share what they think about the game.

The post has over 4000 shares and 10 000 comments since it was posted in less than  24 hours.

Others are defending the team and confident that it will bounce back and others are disappointed asking if they are still going to deal with the defeat all the time in the upcoming season.

Alizwa Bam wrote: “The management has been exposed, they can’t hide behind the coaches now. We need quality players.”

Thembinkosi McKeys said: “This season we should change all the players. We are tired of changing coaches. But anyway YANGA was more prepared for Nabi, they knew him very well. He once coached them.”

Ofetse Mwase said Kaizer Chiefs should have just stayed at home and said they are sick.

Meanwhile, Sandile Mfethu said: “The management must do the right thing. I am happy we saw  these mistakes before the season start, now we know where we must strengthen our team because we really need players maybe 7 or 8 to be released.”

Thabiso Mogane said: “Sir, Nabi is cooking. I see a great season ahead of us with him in charge.”

Tshepo Jonas said Chiefs is promising and coach Nabi has won his heart already.

It was not only fans on Facebook who shared their thoughts about the game, they also flooded on X (Twitter) to defend their team.

FarPost ZA also shared a couple of fan reactions on Twitter, with one of the fans saying this was just a practice game and they wanted to test the combinations and they are not scared.

Kaizer Chiefs is looking to redeem themselves in the coming season as they have not won any trophy in the last nine years and they finished in the 10th place last season which was their lowest ever.
