African Cup of Nations Twitter competition: Terms and Conditions

Valid from 08 January – 09 January 2022

Customers stand a chance to win a R500 betting voucher in our African Cup of Nations Twitter competition. The voucher will be doubled if the winner has an existing Hollywoodbets account. To enter, customers are required to correctly answer the question, post their answer in the comments section on the Hollywoodbets Twitter page, and retweet the original competition post. The winner will be announced on Monday, 10 January 2022.

1. The competition starts on 08 January 2022.
2. The competition ends on 09 January 2022.
3. Contestants must be over the age of 18 to participate in the competition.
4. A customer can enter by correctly answering the question, posting their answer in the comments section on the Hollywoodbets Twitter page, and retweet the original competition post.
5. The winner will be selected randomly via a draw from all valid entries.
6. Winner will be announced on 10 January 2022.
7. Entries are limited. A customer’s first comment will be taken as an entry, anything thereafter will be null and void.
8. The draw to select the winner will be done by a Team Member at the Hollywoodbets Team Support Office and will be supervised by an internal auditor.
9. The winner will be notified via Twitter Direct Message.
10. The prize includes 1 R500 betting voucher which cannot be withdrawn. This prize will be doubled if the customer has an existing Hollywoodbets account.
11. The betting voucher must be turned over (staked) once at odds of 5/10 (0.5 decimal) or greater before withdrawing.
12. By entering the competition, you agree:

1. that Hollywoodbets may collect and process your personal information for the purposes of the competition,
2. to receiving communication from Hollywoodbets’ sponsors and partners,
3. to take part in reasonable post-event publicity and to the use of your name/s and photographs in such publicity, subject to the winner’s right to decline participation in any such promotional activities.

13. A customer may not win more than one prize for the duration of the competition.
14. Hollywoodbets and its authorised agents reserve the right to vary, suspend, postpone or terminate the competition and any prizes which have not already been won, or any aspect thereof, for any reasons whatsoever and without notice. In such event, you hereby waive any rights or expectations, which you may have against Hollywoodbets or its authorised agents and acknowledge that you will not have any recourse or claim of any nature against Hollywoodbets or its authorised agents.
15. Every entrant participating in the competition shall be deemed to have acknowledged and accepted these terms and conditions by virtue of their participation.
16. This competition is closed to any persons who are directors, members, partners, employees, agents or consultants of Hollywoodbets or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by Hollywoodbets or marketing service providers, or spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members of all the above.
17. By entering and participating and/or accepting any prize, the entrants, participants, users and/or winners hereby indemnify, release and hold harmless Hollywoodbets (including its subsidiaries, associate companies and affiliates), its directors, employees, agents, suppliers and contractors from and against any actions, claims and/or liability for injury, loss, damage, expense, claim and/or damages of any kind resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from participation in the competition, and/or the use, acceptance or possession of a prize, and/or participation (or non-participation) in a prize-related activity.
18. Self-excluded persons may not enter the competition.
19. In the event of a dispute, individuals may contact their respective gambling authorities.
20. This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by or associated with Facebook, Twitter or Instagram.
