First Time OZOW Users
12 – 18 December 2022
1. The OZOW promotion runs from 12 – 18 December 2022 at 23:59 or until the first 1 000 first-time users (“claimants”) have claimed their prize.
2. To enter, an entrant must be a first time OZOW user and must make a deposit with a minimum value of R200 on any of the Hollywoodbets platforms, into their Hollywoodbets online account, using the OZOW platform during the promotion period (“qualifying deposit”).
3. Each claimant is eligible for Fifty Rand (R50) worth of credit into their Hollywoodbets account. There will be a maximum of One Thousand (1 000) successful claimants, equating to a total prize value of Fifty-Thousand Rand (R50 000).
4. The prizes will be deposited directly into the claimants’ Hollywoodbets account. The prize must be used as a betting voucher to take bets and cannot be withdrawn.
5. The prize must be turned over at least once at odds of 5/10 (0.5) or greater before a withdrawal can take place.
6. A person may not claim more than once during the promotion period, as this is only for first time OZOW users.
7. OZOW will extract transactional data of all first time OZOW qualifying depositors who have made deposits of Two-Hundred Rand (R200) or more to determine the claimants, up to a maximum of One Thousand (1 000) claimants.
8. Qualifying deposits may not be made by persons under the age of 18 years for participation in the promotion.
9. The promotion is valid for all Hollywoodbets customers who hold an online betting account.
10. There are no entry fees to participate in this promotion. The data costs, or any other costs, incurred by an entrant in the ordinary course of business will apply during the promotion period.
11. It is the responsibility of all entrants to ensure that their entry is received by OZOW prior to the end of the promotion period. Any entries that are not received during the promotion period will not be eligible to participate, regardless of the reason. OZOW and/or Hollywoodbets will not be responsible for any entries which are not received by OZOW, whether timeously or at all, regardless of the cause thereof.
12. By entering the promotion, you agree:
• that Hollywoodbets may collect and process your personal information for the purposes of the promotion. Hollywoodbets’ Privacy Notice can be found here – https://www.hollywoodbets.net/StoredPage.aspx?page=Privacy;
• The terms and conditions applicable to the processing of personal information (“PI”) (as defined in Protection of Personal Information Act 2013 (“POPI”)) by Ozow can be found in the PAIA manual and privacy policy on www.ozow.com. For the avoidance of doubt, all entrants confirm that they have agreed to the privacy policy, which is made available when making a purchase using Ozow; and
• to receiving communication from Hollywoodbets sponsors and partners.
13. It is the responsibility of the contestant to ensure that their deposit is received by OZOW prior to the end of the promotion period. Any deposits that are not received during the promotion period will not be considered a qualifying deposit.
14. The prize is not transferable, and it may not be changed or exchanged in any way.
15. Hollywoodbets reserves the right not to award prizes should irregular or unlawful activities be noted in its sole discretion.
16. The successful claimants agree to take part in reasonable post-event publicity and to the use of their name and photographs in such publicity, subject to his/her right to decline participation in any such promotional activities.
17. Hollywoodbets, OZOW and its authorised agents reserve the right to vary, suspend, postpone or terminate the promotion and any prizes which have not already been won, or any aspect thereof, for any reasons whatsoever and without notice. In such event, you hereby waive any rights, which you may have against Hollywoodbets, OZOW or its authorised agents and acknowledge that you will not have any recourse or claim of any nature against Hollywoodbets, OZOW or its authorised agents.
18. Every contestant participating in the promotion shall be deemed to have acknowledged and accepted these terms and conditions by virtue of their participation.
19. Ozow and the judges’ decision on any matter concerning the promotion and/or arising out of these terms and conditions is final and binding on all entrants and claimants.
20. This promotion is closed to any persons who are directors, members, partners, employees, agents or consultants of Hollywoodbets and OZOW or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by Hollywoodbets, OZOW or their marketing service providers, or spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members of all of the above.
21. By entering and participating, the contestant, participants, users and/or claimants hereby indemnify, release and hold harmless Hollywoodbets and OZOW (including its subsidiaries, associate companies and affiliates), its directors, employees, agents, suppliers and contractors from and against any actions, claims and/or liability for injury, loss, damage, expense, claim and/or damages of any kind resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from participation in the promotion, and/or the use, acceptance or possession of a prize, and/or participation (or non-participation) in a prize-related activity.
22. Hollywoodbets and OZOW do not make any representations or give any warranties, whether expressly or implied, as to a prize, and in particular, but without limitation, makes no representations and gives no warranty that a contestant’s entry or participation in the promotion will necessarily result in such contestant successfully claiming a prize or that a prize, or any aspect thereof, will meet a contestant’s requirements, preferences, standards or expectation.
23. These terms and conditions are available on the Hollywoodbets website platform.

25. The promotion is regulated by the Consumer Protection Act, 68 of 2008 (“CPA”), and it is not intended that any provision of these terms and conditions contravenes any provision of the CPA. Therefore, all provisions of these terms and conditions must be treated as being qualified by the CPA, if necessary, to ensure that the provisions of the CPA are complied with.
