Massmart Competition

Customers stand a chance to win a share of R100 000 in Massmart gift vouchers. To enter, customers need to purchase Holly Top Up Vouchers to the value of R50 or more from any Builders, Makro, Jumbo Cash and Carry or Game, redeem it into their Hollywoodbets accounts and opt in once on the promotions page.

1. The competition runs from 01 – 31 December 2022.
2. Contestants must be over the age of 18 to participate in the competition and have a valid Hollywoodbets account.
3. Top Up Vouchers must be purchased between 01 – 31 December 2022.
4. Every Top Up Voucher counts as one entry into the competition and each voucher can only be used once.
5. The draws will take place at the Hollywoodbets Umhlanga Team Support Office and will be supervised by an Internal Auditor.
6. Entries are unlimited; all entries that are not drawn in the previous draw, will be carried forward to the next draw.
7. The winners will be selected randomly via a draw from all valid entries.
8. The winners are limited to one prize only throughout the competition.
9. The winners will be contacted on the below draw dates and Hollywoodbets will make arrangements to deliver the in-store voucher in the ensuing week (5-7 business days).
10. Winners have 5-7 business days from being contacted, to avail themselves for the in-store voucher handover.
11. 50 winners will be selected to win a once-off Builders, Makro, Jumbo Cash and Carry or Game voucher valued at R2 000.
12. The duration of the competition will be over one month; 12 – 14 winners will be selected every week.
13. The weekly prize will be a R2 000 Massmart in-store voucher (Builders, Makro, Jumbo Cash and Carry or Game).
14. Winners for the draw will be drawn on the below dates.

• 08 December 2022 (12 winners)
• 15 December 2022 (12 winners)
• 22 December 2022 (12 winners)
• 31 December 2022 (14 winners)

15. The winners will be contacted telephonically on the above-mentioned dates to claim their prize.
16. The vouchers are non-transferable and are not redeemable for cash.
17. This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook, Twitter or Instagram.
18. Hollywoodbets reserves the right to not award prizes should irregular activities be identified.
19. Hollywoodbets’ decision regarding the winners is final and no correspondence related to the entry will be considered.
20. By entering the competition, you agree:
    1. that Hollywoodbets may collect and process your personal information for the purposes of the competition,
    2. to receiving communication from Hollywoodbets’ sponsors and partners,
    3. to take part in reasonable post-event publicity and to the use of your name/s and photographs in such publicity, subject to the winner’s right to decline participation in any such promotional activities.

22. Hollywoodbets and its authorised agents reserve the right to vary, suspend, postpone or terminate the competition and any prizes which have not already been won, or any aspect thereof, for any reasons whatsoever and without notice. In such event, you hereby waive any rights or expectations, which you may have against Hollywoodbets or its authorised agents and acknowledge that you will not have any recourse or claim of any nature against Hollywoodbets or its authorised agents.
23. Every entrant participating in the competition shall be deemed to have acknowledged and accepted these terms and conditions by virtue of their participation.
24. This competition is closed to any persons who are directors, members, partners, employees, agents or consultants of Hollywoodbets and Massmart or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by Hollywoodbets and Massmart or marketing service providers, or spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members of all of the above.
25. By entering and participating and/or accepting any prize, the entrants, participants, users and/or winners hereby indemnify, release and hold harmless Hollywoodbets (including its subsidiaries, associate companies and affiliates), its directors, employees, agents, suppliers and contractors from and against any actions, claims and/or liability for injury, loss, damage, expense, claim and/or damages of any kind resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from participation in the competition, and/or the use, acceptance or possession of a prize, and/or participation (or non-participation) in a prize-related activity.
