Wallet doc Competition Terms and Conditions

Customers must log on to the Hollywoodbets website and click the ‘opt-in’ button on the promotions page to enter during the competition period.

1. The Wallet Doc competition runs from 01-31 May 2024.
2. 30 winners will be selected randomly, to either win a tech gadget, Takealot Vouchers or a cash prize.
3. The winners will be selected randomly via draws from all qualifying deposits made during the promotional period. The prizes will be deposited directly into the winners’ Hollywoodbets accounts or will be delivered to a Hollywoodbets branch closest to the winner’s residence within 14 days after they have been selected.
4. The draws will take place at the Hollywoodbets Team Support Office and will be supervised by an Internal Auditor on the below dates:

• Draw 1, 06 May 2024 – 7 Winners (2 x Samsung Sound Bar, 4x R1000 Cash)
• Draw 2, 10 May 2024 – 6 Winners ( 1x Samsung Sound Bar, 4x R1000 Cash)
• Draw 3, 17 May 2024 – 6 Winners (1x Samsung Sound Bar, 5x R1000 Cash)
• Draw 4, 24 May 2024 – 6 Winners (1x Skyworth 55″ TV, 1x Apple iPhone 15 128GB, 3x R1000 Cash)
• Draw 5, 31 May 2024 – 5 Winners (1x Takealot Voucher, 1x Skyworth 55″ TV, 1x PlayStation 5 825GB, 2x R1000 Cash)

5. Entries are unlimited; however, a person may not win more than one prize during the promotional period. One deposit equals One entry.
6. Tech gadgets come with a standard manufacturer warranty, and Hollywoodbets will not be liable for any addition warranty or cost.
7. The winners will be notified via a call or SMS.
8. The competition is valid for all Hollywoodbets customers who hold an online betting account.
9. The prize is not transferable, and it may not be changed or exchanged in cash.
10. Qualifying deposits may not be made by persons under the age of 18 years during the promotion.
11. There are no entry fees to participate in this promotion. The data costs, or any other costs, incurred by an entrant in the ordinary course of business will apply during the promotion period.
12. It is the responsibility of all entrants to ensure that their entry is received by Wallet Doc prior to the end of the competition. Any entries that are not received during the promotional period will not be valid, regardless of the reason. Wallet Doc and/or Hollywoodbets will not be responsible for any entries which are not received by Wallet Doc, whether timeously or at all, regardless of the cause thereof.
13. By entering the promotion, you agree:

• that Hollywoodbets may collect and process your personal information for the purposes of the promotion. Hollywoodbets’ Privacy Notice can be found here – https://www.hollywoodbets.net/StoredPage.aspx?page=Privacy;
• The terms and conditions applicable to the processing of personal information (“PI”) (as defined in Protection of Personal Information Act 2013 (“POPI“)) by Wallet Doc can be found in the PAIA manual and privacy policy on Wallet Doc .com. For the avoidance of doubt, all entrants confirm that they have agreed to the privacy policy, which is made available when making a purchase using Wallet Doc ; and
• to receiving communication from Hollywoodbets sponsors and partners.

14. It is the responsibility of the contestant to ensure that their deposit is received by Wallet Doc prior to the end of the promotional period. Any deposits that are not received during the promotion period will not be considered a qualifying deposit.
15. Hollywoodbets reserves the right not to award prizes should irregular or unlawful activities be noted in its sole discretion.
16. The successful claimants agree to take part in reasonable post-event publicity and to the use of their name and photographs in such publicity, subject to his/her right to decline participation in any such promotional activities.
17. Hollywoodbets, Wallet Doc and its authorised agents reserve the right to vary, suspend, postpone or terminate the promotion and any prizes which have not already been won, or any aspect thereof, for any reasons whatsoever and without notice. In such event, you hereby waive any rights, which you may have against Hollywoodbets, Wallet Doc or its authorised agents and acknowledge that you will not have any recourse or claim of any nature against Hollywoodbets, Wallet Doc  or its authorised agents.
18. Every contestant participating in the promotion shall be deemed to have acknowledged and accepted these terms and conditions by virtue of their participation.
19. Wallet Doc and the judges’ decision on any matter concerning the promotion and/or arising out of these terms and conditions is final and binding on all entrants and claimants.
20. Any person (s) who are directors, members, partners, employees, agents or consultants of Hollywoodbets and Wallet Doc or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by Hollywoodbets, Wallet Doc or their marketing service providers (or spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members of all of the above) may not participate in the promotion.
21. By entering and participating, the contestant, participants, users and/or claimants hereby indemnify, release and hold harmless Hollywoodbets and Wallet Doc (including its subsidiaries, associate companies and affiliates), its directors, employees, agents, suppliers and contractors from and against any actions, claims and/or liability for injury, loss, damage, expense, claim and/or damages of any kind resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from participation in the promotion, and/or the use, acceptance or possession of a prize, and/or participation (or non-participation) in a prize-related activity.
22. Hollywoodbets and Wallet Doc do not make any representations or give any warranties, whether expressly or implied, as to a prize, and in particular, but without limitation, makes no representations and gives no warranty that a contestant’s entry or participation in the promotion will necessarily result in such contestant successfully claiming a prize or that a prize, or any aspect thereof, will meet a contestant’s requirements, preferences, standards or expectation.

Therefore, all provisions of these terms and conditions must be treated as being qualified by the CPA, if necessary, to ensure that the provisions of the CPA are complied with.
