After nine months of action the 2021/22 Top 14 season comes to a close this Saturday with Montpellier and Castres going head to head in the final.

Castres 89/100 | Draw 20/1 | Montpellier 1/1
Montpellier may have closed out the regular season with just one win from their final four games but they put that all behind them last weekend as they beat the Bordeaux Begles 19-10 in a fiercely contested semi-final.
Philippe Saint-André’s men duked it out in a hotly contested fixture against Bordeaux with the difference-makers being fly-half Italian Paolo Garbisi and French full-back Anthony Bouthier who both slotted timely drop goals to guide their side to a 19-10 victory.
Like their opponents, Castres were also involved in a cagey old affair. Toulouse had come into the fixture as hot favourites with the books and it was expected that their French international 9-10 pairing of Antoinne Dupont and Emile Ntamack would be the stars of the show.
This was not the case, however, as Castres’ South American nine-10 combo of Uruguayan Santiago Arata and Argentine Benjamín stole the show with polished performances.
Looking at the head to head results between Montpellier and Castres now and the sides shared the spoils during the regular season with Castres winning 25-9 at the Stade Pierre Fabre while Montpellier snuck at 25-24 victory at GGL Stadium.
Verdict: Castres 89/100
I think we’ll get the same result as we got when the sides met in the 2018 final which saw Catres secure their fifth title. Back them to claim their sixth Top 14 title this weekend.
