Springboks Curwin Bosch and Sikhumbuzo Notshe have been named in the Sharks’ starting XV for Wednesday’s Currie Cup coastal derby against Western Province at Kings Park.
Bosch’s last appearance for the Sharks was on October 16 against the Cardiff Blues in the United Rugby Championship at fullback. Due to a hip injury and falling down the pecking order behind Boeta Chamberlain, Bosch has not played since but has a chance to stake his claim again due to the poor form of Chamberlain recently, especially in terms of goalkicking.
Notshe, meanwhile, has not played a competitive rugby match going all the way back to May of last year due to a serious knee injury, which he has finally recovered enough from to make his comeback.

Centre Marius Louw will captain the side and combines with Werner Kok in the midfield. Marnus Potgieter comes in on the left wing for Eduan Keyter, who sustained a serious injury in the Currie Cup opener against the Griquas. Meanwhile, Inny Radebe has been named at fullback for what will be his first match since returning to the Sharks after making an about-turn on his decision to retire from the game.
