The South Africans have shortened slightly after last weekend’s 16-16 Rugby Championship draw between the two sides. That game saw All Black Brodie Retallick leave the field with a shoulder injury, and while the news coming out of the All Black camp is saying that he’s around 50/50 to play this world Cup opener, logic says he won’t be available as these sorts of injuries take about 10 weeks to heal.
Games between these two sides have been extremely tight since Rassie Erasmus took over the South African side, so the ‘Boks are well worth a punt at this price.
