Handicap

Lions (-7.5)

In what was possibly the Stormers worst start in a Super Rugby campaign, the Stomers have a tough task ahead of them when they host the Lions.

The Stormers failed to score a try when they were overhauled 40  -3 by the Blue Bulls in Loftus. Robbie Fleck cited an “off day” for his team and had no real explanation for the humbling defeat.

The Lions strated their campaign with a trip to Argentina, where Marnus Schoeman scored a hat trick of tries as the Lions won a difficult fixture 25 – 16.

Eben Etzebeth returns for the Stormers, while Dillyn Leyds is out injured and will be replaced by Damian Willemse who moves to fullback and Jean-luc du Plessis starts at 10. Sergeal Petersen will run on for his Stormers Super Rugby debut.

The only change in the Lions sees Kwagga Smith returning form injury and speedster Hacjivah Dayimani started form the bench alongside Aphiwe Dyantyi who is replace by Ruan Combrink.

Verdict: Lions (-7.5)
The Stormers wont be as loose as they were in their first fixture, especially in front of their home crowd. But the Lions should run away with this clash
