The Springboks recorded a historic win over the All Blacks in the final match of the 2021 Rugby Championship. Elton Jantjies knocked over a penalty from in front after the full-time hooter to secure a 31-29 win in what was arguably the most entertaining Test match we’ve seen this year.

And while there were plenty of talking points from what was a breathless encounter, Lukhanyo Am stole the show in the first half as his delicious behind the back offload to Sbu Nkosi which set up Damien De Allende for South Africa’s opening try of the match.

Take a look at the piece of magic below:

It’s also worth mentioning that was Am’s line speed in defence that forced the error from Codie Taylor which led to the try. Is there anything that the Sharks’ 13 can’t do?

The win down at the Cbus Super Stadium was only the Springboks’ third of the Rugby Championship and snapped a three-match losing streak which included a couple of losses against Australia.

Nienaber and his men have month to recharge before they head over to the UK for and end of year tour that features Tests against Wales, Scotland and England.
