Last week I came very close, correctly tipping 4 out 5, with Dinamo Zagreb’s failure to beat Gorica in the Croatian top-flight putting me out of my 11/1 multiple.
But as the old saying goes, if at first you don’t succeed, try again.
Follow me this week as I take a look at the less popular leagues in Europe and pick out a five-leg multiple bet.

HNK Gorica 17/4
Starting in the Croatian top-flight, the Prva Liga, and Rijeka look a top bet at 11/20. They are a very good side, especially on their turf. They’re unbeaten in their last seven home games in the league with six wins, while their opponents Gorica are poor travellers with just one win from their last eight away matches. The home win is the way to go.

Krylia Sovetov 13/1
In Russia’s Premier Liga, it’s top versus bottom as table-toppers Zenit entertain bottom side Krylia Sovetov. In Zenit’s last two games, they beat Ural 7-1 and CSKA Moscow 4-0. You can include the champions on the (-1) Handicap at 11/20.

I’ll definitely be including Shakhter in my bets this weekend. They’re second in the Belarusian Premier League, four points behind table-toppers BATE, and should win comfortably against a Minsk side that has lost three on the trot. Take them on the (-1) Handicap at 21/20.
BATE Borisov 13/20

Dinamo Minsk 4/1
Staying in the Belarusian Premier League and BATE Borisov are once again a top bet this weekend. They’re in great form – unbeaten in 12 league games with nine wins and in that hot streak was a 3-0 victory over Dinamo Minsk in November. They also beat Minsk twice in the Belarusian Cup to win 5-3 on aggregate. Jump on the home win at 13/20 and thank me later.

NK Osijek 38/10
Now, I know Dinamo Zagreb let me down last week and I probably shouldn’t look at them, but the 7/10 looks too good to pass up, especially as the champions-elect are at home where they’re unbeaten with 14 wins from 15 games. Their opponents Osijek are a good side but aren’t the best travellers.
