New Bafana Bafana head coach Hugo Broos says he is impressed by Morkoka Swallows FC since his arrival in the country.
So far Broos has spent time at a number of DStv Premiership games to gauge some of the talent in the selection pool ahead of the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
In an interview with KickOff.com, Broos says he has been most impressed with Swallows so far out of the teams he has seen despite not selecting any of their players yet for a Bafana call-up.
“Swallows, now at this moment is the best football playing team, they play very good football. There’s speed, tempo, good combinations. For me, the best team in football alone,” he tells KickOff.com.
“Sundowns, when I watched the game, the tempo was very low, they have good players certainly but what I saw from Swallows, the speed, good wingers, combinations, playing one-two. I find them, at this moment, this best playing team.
“It’s maybe coincidence because I didn’t see Swallows before I selected the squad but okay this is what I saw,” he added.
