Let’s get straight into the juicy bits and be sure to take a gander at the multiple of the year below.

Saturday 12 March

33/20 Augsburg | Draw 22/10 | Mainz 17/10 (16:30)

Augsburg return home to the WWK Arena after snapping a three-match winless streak claiming maximum points away at Arminia Bielefeld. All thanks to Daniel Caligiuri’s strike in a 1-0 win which saw the hosts leapfrog Bielefeld in the standings.

Mainz will be well-rested, having more time to prepare for this fixture as last weekend’s clash with Borussia Dortmund was postponed to next Wednesday. The Carnival Club blow hot and cold, depending on their location – on their travels Mainz are winless in seven games, tasting six defeats, whereas their form on home soil is near perfect with five consecutive victories. Nevertheless, my money is on Mainz to break their duck on enemy territory, or you can play it safer in the Double Chance market by including the (Win/Draw) at 9/20 odds.

11/10 Freiburg | Draw 24/10 | Wolfsburg 47/20 (16:30)

Freiburg will be aiming to stretch their unbeaten spell at the Europa-Park Stadion to six matches when Wolfsburg make the trip to the south-west of Germany for a lunchtime kick-off. The Breisgau Brazilians come off an impressive performance against RB Leipzig which saw Christian Streich’s men stay in the hunt for the coveted UEFA Champions League qualification spots after sharing the spoils in a 1-1 draw away at the Red Bull Arena.
Wolfsburg returned to winning ways, edging out a 1-0 win over Union Berlin in a cagey and hard-fought contest but face an uphill task against a confident Freiburg outfit. Select the hosts to complete the league double over Wolfsburg.

37/10 Hoffenheim | Draw 38/10 | Bayern Munich 11/20 (16:30)

As expected in last weekend’s preview Bayern Munich failed to beat Bayer Leverkusen, however, the 1-1 draw wasn’t our prediction as we went all in for the Leverkusen victory. Whenever we see the bookies price up Bayern Munich at these odds, we start to question why… The Bavarians were going through a mini wobble in February, but somewhat recovered. Bayern will also come into this clash with fewer days to prepare after their midweek UEFA Champions League match against RB Salzburg.
Hoffenheim suffered convincing defeats in the last two meetings at the Allianz Arena but stunned the champions 4-1 on home soil. Die Kraichgauer will be confidently in the search for their fifth straight Bundesliga win. With the home side trailing third-placed Leverkusen by two points, their confidence has begun growing during the second half of the campaign. Call me crazy but my money is on Hoffenheim to win, and I’d also have a punt in the Anytime Goalscorer market selecting Andrej Kramaric to score (closer to kick off).

21/20 Union Berlin | Draw 49/20 | Stuttgart 51/20 (16:30)

Union Berlin entertain Stuttgart in the capital as the Iron One’s will look to overcome hard times after tasting four defeats in five matches that has seen them drop from fourth to seventh in the log standings, with Hoffenheim, Freiburg and RB Leipzig taking full advantage.
Stuttgart gained maximum points and gave themselves a glimmer of hope to escape the relegation zone, beating Borussia Monchengladbach 3-2, with goals by Wataru Endo, Chris Fuhrich, and Sasa Kalajdzic ending their horrible spell of nine winless league games. I’m expecting a low-scoring affair that could possibly end in a goalless draw – cash in by playing Under 2.5 Goals at 17/20 odds or go brave and enter 0-0 in the Correct Score market at 10/1.

5/10 Borussia Monchengladbach | Draw 36/10 | Hertha Berlin 44/10 (19:30)

Borussia Monchengladbach don’t inspire any confidence with just three victories in 15 league games which has seen them go from a club aiming for European qualification, to a club scrambling to survive relegation within 12 months since the departure of manager Marco Rose to Borussia Dortmund.

Hertha Berlin are in deep trouble and look certain for the drop in current form – suffering four consecutive defeats, while shipping 15 goals in the process. It’s no wonder the hosts are short priced at 5/10, however, my money says Both Teams To Score (Yes) is the better option at 6/10 odds.

Sunday 13 March

6/10 Bayer Leverkusen | Draw 33/10 | Cologne 37/10 (16:30)

Bayer Leverkusen and Cologne will get proceedings underway on Sunday afternoon. The hosts first have to deal with Atalanta in midweek UEFA Europa League action prior to this clash but after going toe-to-toe with Bayern Munich and putting in a proper shift, Die Werkself will surely back themselves.

Cologne come off a 1-0 defeat to Hoffenheim and failed to earn victory in their last three away matches at Bochum, RB Leipzig and Greuther Furth. Meanwhile Bayer Leverkusen have won three of the previous four meetings between these sides. The home win is a solid bet at 6/10.

1/4 Borussia Dortmund | Draw 5/1 | Arminia Bielefeld 17/2 (18:30)

A well-rested Borussia Dortmund host Arminia Bielefeld on Sunday seemingly with very little on offer to punters searching for value. The visiting team have lost three of their last four Bundesliga matches without finding the net and without dwelling on this fixture, I’m going in that direction.

Home Win To Nil (Yes) is my play at 12/10 odds.

17/20 Eintracht Frankfurt | Draw 26/10 | Bochum 31/10 (20:30)

Eintracht Frankfurt and Bochum will lock horns on Sunday in possibly the upset of the weekend. The Eagles ended their three-match losing streak with a 4-1 win at Hertha Berlin last time out.

However, Bochum have every chance of upsetting the applecart seeing as Eintracht Frankfurt will have a crucial midweek UEFA Europa League tie to contest with against Real Betis in Spain. While Bochum have only suffered a narrow 1-0 loss to RB Leipzig from their last six league games. My suggestion is taking Bochum on the Win/Draw Double Chance at 17/20.

6/1 Greuther Furth | Draw 4/1 | RB Leipzig 7/20 (20:30)

Greuther Furth come into this clash winless in five matches – tasting three defeats on their travels and managing to tally four points against fellow strugglers Hertha Berlin and Cologne on home soil.

RB Leipzig will proceed the next stage of the UEFA Europa League without having to play Spartak Moscow who were disqualified due to off the field reasons. The Red Bulls lost ground in the race for the top-four positions in last weekend’s draw with Freiburg and will be eager to return to winning ways. Add RB Leipzig to all weekend multiples.
