Friday 29 April

2/7 Union Berlin | Draw 44/10 | Greuther Furth 9/1 (20:30)

Union Berlin pulled off a smash and grab victory in the last five minutes of their clash away at the Red Bull Arena with Sven Michel and Kevin Behrens finding the net and cancelling out Yussuf Poulsen’s first-half strike for RB Leipzig.

The Iron One’s quest for a fifth straight Bundesliga win against the league’s bottom club is but guaranteed, seeing as Greuther Furth come into the clash winless in four games. Home Team Clean Sheet (Yes) is my play at 7/10.

Saturday 30 April

4/10 Borussia Dortmund | Draw 42/10 | Bochum 58/10 (15:30)

After suffering back-to-back losses to Freiburg (3-0) and Augsburg (2-0), Bochum make the trip to Signal-Iduna-Park to lock horns with Borussia Dortmund, who are hurting after their 3-1 defeat to Bayer Munich handed the Bundesliga Meisterschale to the Bavarians for the 10th straight season.

Julian Brandt rescued a point for the Yellow and Black during the 1-1 stalemate when these teams met in December, however, in current circumstances, I predict Dortmund putting Bochum to the sword.

Confidently select Home Win To Nil (Yes) at 33/20.

12/10 Stuttgart | Draw 5/2 | Wolfsburg 43/20 (15:30)

Stuttgart are in hot water after succumbing to defeat away in the capital, failing to score for the third straight matchup against Hertha Berlin in a massive six-pointer which allowed themselves to sink deeper into the relegation scrap.

Wolfsburg are surely safe from being in the same battle as Stuttgart, after thrashing Mainz 5-0 last Sunday. Remaining in the top-flight might be the furthest thing away from the Wolves’ initial plans for this season, which included UEFA Champions League football.

For betting purposes, select Clean Sheet Away Team (Yes) at 3/1.

44/10 Mainz | Draw 38/10 | Bayern Munich 5/10 (15:30)

Tenth-placed Mainz are set for 90 minutes against the 10-time, reigning, defending, undisputed German Bundesliga champions – Bayern Munich!!!

Mainz have been toothless with three losses and four matches and seem to already have the holiday sandals on with not much to play for during the remainder of the campaign.

Back Bayern Munich to win, however, if you in search for value – Jamal Musiala at 43/20 in the Anytime Goalscorer market is well worth a punt.

7/4 Augsburg | Draw 47/20 | Cologne 15/10 (15:30)

Augsburg will be aiming to build momentum after snapping their two-match losing streak away at Bochum, thanks to Andre Hahn and Michael Gregoritsch goals. Meanwhile, Cologne come into the clash looking to claim maximum points for the fourth straight game that could possibly see themselves in the European football slots by the end of the weekend.

The Billy Goats offer plenty of value at 15/10 for the win, but I’m very confident that Cologne & Both Teams To Score (Yes) will come home flying at 37/10.

31/20 Arminia Bielefeld | Draw 22/10 | Hertha Berlin 18/10 (15:30)

Arminia Bielefeld returning to 2. Bundesliga next season is almost a certainty, bar a football miracle mirroring Sunderland’s great escape during the 2014 campaign. Hertha Berlin found themselves in the exact position a few weeks ago but back-to-back wins over Augsburg (1-0) and Stuttgart (2-0) have their noses above water for the time being in 15th place.

The best bet is Both Teams To Score (No) at 19/20, for the sixth straight meeting between these opponents.

11/10 Hoffenheim | Draw 26/10 | Freiburg 21/10 (18:30)

Hoffenheim and Freiburg close out Saturday’s action at the PreZero Arena. The hosts were in an excellent position to achieve qualification to continental football but threw it away during their current spell of six matches – failing to win – only tallying three points from a possible total of 18.

Freiburg are currently in the UEFA Europa League slot at fifth on the standings, hoping to pounce onto any false-steps from third-placed Bayer Leverkusen and fourth-placed RB Leipzig and still have silverware in their sights with the upcoming DFB Pokal final against the Red Bulls in three weeks’ time.

My money is firmly on Freiburg at 21/10.

Monday 2 May

6/10 Bayer Leverkusen | Draw 32/10 | Eintracht Frankfurt 4/1 (20:30)

Eintracht Frankfurt make the trip to the Bay Arena with this Monday night Bundesliga clash sandwiched by the Eagles’ crucial UEFA Europa League encounter against West Ham over two legs.

This will have a massive bearing on team selection and seeing as Bayer Leverkusen can’t afford to drop points in order to hold onto their UEFA Champions League position – Leverkusen are my banker in Bundesliga at 6/10 on home soil.

28/10 Borussia Monchengladbach | Draw 29/10 | RB Leipzig 17/20 (20:30)

Borussia Monchengladbach were part of an enthralling 3-3 stalemate away at Freiburg last Saturday. The Foals come from behind to overturn a two-goal deficit and led 3-2 with 10 minutes to play, but unfortunately conceded in added time to settle for a share of the spoils.

RB Leipzig also find themselves in the semi-finals of the UEFA Europa League against Scottish club Rangers, however, with defeat to Union Berlin last time out in the Bundesliga, the Red Bulls can’t afford another failure. At 17/20, RB Leipzig is my play.

TREBLE @ 57/1

Stuttgart vs Wolfsburg: Clean Sheet Away Team (Yes) 3/1
Cologne & BTTS (Yes) 37/10
Freiburg Win 21/10
