Friday 18 March

39/20 Bochum | Draw 24/10 | Borussia Monchengladbach 27/20 (21:30)

Borussia Monchengladbach make the trip to the Vonovia Ruhrstadion after snapping a three-match winless streak, beating relegation-threatened Hertha Berlin 2-0. Meanwhile, Bochum will be hoping to return to winning ways after tasting a 2-1 defeat away at Eintracht Frankfurt. The hosts have played their best football on home soil and are my preferred selection to avenge their 2-1 loss to the Foals earlier this season.

Saturday 19 March

32/10 Hertha Berlin | Draw 31/10 | Hoffenheim 7/10 (16:30)

Hertha Berlin suffered their fifth straight Bundesliga defeat last Saturday and come into the clash winless in 10 matches across all competitions which doesn’t bode well for a team desperately trying to avoid the drop.

I backed Hoffenheim to come away from their clash against Bayern Munich with a share of the spoils and the Die Kraichgauer didn’t disappoint, taking a point from the 1-1 stalemate – building even more momentum on their quest for UEFA Champions League qualification. Include Hoffenheim to all weekend multiples.

7/2 Greuther Furth | Draw 29/10 | Freiburg 7/10 (16:30)

Greuther Furth would love to enjoy a positive weekend of results that sit well in their favour. Narrowing the margin between themselves and second-from-bottom, Hertha Berlin, but I’m afraid they’re in for an uphill task.

Freiburg’s 3-2 victory over Wolfsburg stamped their authority of intent in the race for the European qualification slots as the Breisgau Brazilians enter this clash unbeaten in six matches across all competitions. Freiburg is my play at 7/10.

7/10 Mainz | Draw 26/10 | Arminia Bielefeld 4/1 (16:30)

Mainz were disappointing during the 3-1 defeat two weeks ago, away to Union Berlin but to be fair to the Carnival Club, the Stadion An der Alten Forsterei is a slaughterhouse for away teams in the Bundesliga.

On home soil, Mainz are unbeaten in eight games including five wins on the spin that justify their 7/10 pricing with bookies. At the time of writing Borussia Dortmund are set to face Mainz in a Thursday night fixture that was postponed three weeks earlier.

Meanwhile, Arminia Bielefeld have suffered four losses in five matches and failed to score in each poor showing. Take Mainz for the win confidently.

21/20 Stuttgart | Draw 5/2 | Augsburg 5/2 (16:30)

Stuttgart will be hoping to bag maximum points when the Reds entertain Augsburg on Saturday. The hosts are trying to claw their way out of a relegation scrap and built on their 3-2 win over Borussia Monchengladbach by sharing the spoils in a 1-1 draw away at Union Berlin thanks to a stoppage time goal by striker Sasa Kalajdzic.

The Austrian spearhead has now scored in back-to-back matches and will set his sights on an Augsburg defence who have shipped 11 goals in their four away games. At 16/10, Sasa Kalajdzic is my selection in the Anytime Goalscorer market.

2/11 Bayern Munich | Draw 13/2 | Union Berlin 12/1 (19:30)

Bayern Munich will be smarting from their last two matches in the Bundesliga against Bayer Leverkusen and Hoffenheim which saw the Bavarians fail to claim maximum points.

Both times we’ve predicted the underdogs to put up a proper fight against the reigning-champions who now face a Union Berlin team that always pose a threat on their day. I refuse to tip Bayern Munich to lose for the third straight week – Under 2.5 Goals is my play at 47/20.

Sunday 20 March

9/20 RB Leipzig | Draw 36/10 | Eintracht Frankfurt 5/1 (16:30)

RB Leipzig and Eintracht Frankfurt will open proceedings on Sunday in a mouth-watering clash between two teams who are striving for UEFA Champions League qualification. Both sides never disappoint offensively, so right off the bat we’re aiming for Over 2.5 Goals to be scored (6/10).

Portuguese striker Andre Silva will face his former club in the colours of the Red Bulls and has found the back of the net regularly enough for me to have a brave punt in the Anytime Goalscorer market at 21/20 odds.

21/10 Wolfsburg | Draw 5/2 | Bayer Leverkusen 12/10 (18:30)

Wolfsburg return home to the Volkswagen Arena licking their wounds from a 3-2 defeat at Freiburg. It doesn’t get any easier for the Wolves who entertain Bayer Leverkusen that are aiming to pile on the misery.

Bayer Leverkusen suffered a shock 1-0 loss to Cologne and will now be desperate to recover their losses in terms of their log standing. Wonderkid Florian Wirtz will be sorely missed by Die Werkself after suffering a torn ACL in his knee.

Nevertheless, I’m comfortable with placing my money on Moussa Diaby to continue his stellar form. Take Leverkusen confidently at 12/10.

24/10 Cologne | Draw 28/10 | Borussia Dortmund 1/1 (20:30)

Cologne will be hoping to capitalize on Borussia Dortmund having fewer days to rest and prepare for this clash. The Billy Goats edged out a 1-0 win over Bayer Leverkusen last time out, so they will have more belief in themselves.

Borussia Dortmund are too unpredictable without the focal point of their attack – Erling Haaland. Until Haaland returns to action, I’m sceptical with taking the straight win. Instead, I’m sitting on the fence and playing the safer option in Both Teams To Score (Yes) at 5/10.

QUAD @ 19/1

Hoffenheim Win 7/10
Anytime Goalscorer – Sasa Kalajdzic 16/10
Anytime Goalscorer – Andre Silva 21/20
Bayer Leverkusen Win 12/10
