Cape Town City have confirmed the signing of TS Galaxy defender Tshegofatso Nyama.
The 23-year-old joins the Citizens on a long-term deal after 62 appearances for the Rockets, scoring one goal and assisting three.
Nyama has been brought in to replace the departed Lyle Lakay, who has returned to his parent club Mamelodi Sundowns after a loan spell last season.
The new signing will compete with veteran defender Marc van Heerden for a place in the starting eleven next term.
The club announced the news with a video post on their social media account, with the tagline: “OFFICIALLY OFFICIAL. NYAMA joins the City family!”
