Friday 16 September

21/20 Aston Villa | Draw 5/2 | Southampton 5/2 (21:00)

Aston Villa seem to always need something to happen before they kick into gear. I was impressed with them against City, and should they replicate that performance, I think they win. The Saints have a bit too much quality to get relegated – but they’ll need something to change quite soon.

I’m on the home win for what’s it worth.

37/20 Nottingham Forest | Draw 23/10 | Fulham 15/10 (21:00)

This is a clash between two teams who will unapologetically go for broke here. Forest have assembled an exciting team and have players who on their day can seriously turn it on. Fulham have been brilliant though and if I was pushed for a winner, it would be the away side.

For betting purposes though, I think both teams scoring is the play. Get on at 7/10.

Saturday 17 September

7/1 Wolves | Draw 44/10 | Manchester City 7/20 (13:30)

Well, what about that for an acquisition! Wolves bringing in Diego Costa could turn out to be a stroke of absolute genius. He is a gritty player who knows what is required in the league – I can’t wait for that.

City are dangerous though, they have firepower all over and should win this. The only question is whether Wolves can make this a scrappy affair and not allow City to play. I’m going to gamble and go under 2.5 goals at 27/20.

9/20 Newcastle | Draw 7/2 | Bournemouth 6/1 (16:00)

Whether or not Allan Saint-Maximin is back will have a massive effect on this game, I think Newcastle are a little placid without him and Bournemouth showed character to earn something from their last outing.

Newcastle will certainly be willed on from their fans but I’m not sure I’m as confident as the bookmakers. I wouldn’t add this to anything but I’m on the Win/Draw Double Chance for the visitors. Get on at 15/10.

5/10 Tottenham | Draw 36/10 | Leicester City 48/10 (18:30)

Leicester will have a difficult season – it’s as simple as that. No matter how good you are as a coach or player, the nature of the game is that you simply must be supported in the window.

Spurs are quite literally on the other side of the coin – and as a result need nothing further from me to ensure you put your money on their win.

Sunday 18 September

32/10 Brentford | Draw 28/10 | Arsenal 8/10 (15:00)

Arsenal have been incredible this season, now when you couple that with Brentford playing at home without any concern or hesitation…a clangor of a game is sure to follow.

Arsenal has a better side this time and are good enough to win this game – but I think Brentford score. Back that at 49/20.

39/20 Everton | Draw 23/10 | West Ham 29/20 (15:00)

This is a tough game to call. Neither side have really hit their straps and you would be foolish to throw any serious money at either. West Ham have shown signs of life, but I haven’t been convinced they can muster that character against the so-called ‘lesser’ sides.

Everton might struggle with the pace of the game if West Ham can be fearlessly direct. I’m going to tentatively side with the Hammers.

TREBLE @ 4/1

Aston Villa Win 21/20

Nottm Forest vs Fulham BTTS 7/10

Tottenham Win 5/10
