Writers’ Weekend Treble

H9ollywoodbets' Blog Writers' Treble

Check out our writer’s weekend treble that equates to 9/2.

Our revamped Writers’ Treble segment didn’t get off to the blistering start we were hoping for with none of our writers’ suggested trebles arriving. There was a near miss for our rugby scribe who went out on his final leg, however.

Anyway, let’s move onto this week’s treble which features the Stormers to clear the handicap against the Jaguares, a win for Swansea and an AC Milan victory. There are also the individual selected trebles for you to follow.

Swansea 19/20 | Draw 47/20 | Burnley 28/10

Swansea have been in decent nick of late their last two home fixtures. Thier opponents, Burnley, while brilliant at home have struggled on the road losing three of their last four away games. The men from Wales look a much more composed unit under Paul Clement, who has turned the club’s fortunes around after a shambolic start to the season. A Swansea win at 19/20 looks a solid bet.

Jason’s Treble @ 5/1
South Africa Win v New Zealand (5th ODI)
Swansea Win v Burnley 19/20 (EPL)
Stormers (-10.5) v Jaguares 9/10 (Super Rugby)

Stormers 1/4 | Draw 28/1 | Jaguares 28/10

Okay, so I’m changing tact this week and will be backing the Stormers instead of going against them. Robbie Fleck’s men were a joy to watch last week, producing the fabled ‘Attacking Brand’ of rugby that South African audiences have been crying out for. And while their opponents do come into this one off the back of a win against the Kings, I can’t see them even competing against what is sure to be a fired-up Stormers outfit. The -10.5 handicap is an absolute gift!

Darry’s Treble @ 5/1

Brumbies (-5.5) v Sharks 9/10 (Super Rugby) Stormers (-10.5) v Jaguares 9/10 (Super Rugby)
Waratahs (+8.5) v Lions 9/10 (Super Rugby)

Saturday 4 February, 21:45

Pick: AC Milan (Serie A)

AC Milan 6/10 | Draw 28/10 | Chievo 9/2
AC Milan have lacked consistency this season but three wins from their last four games, including back-to-back victories keeps them in the hunt for a UEFA Champions League spot. Chievo’s mid-table placement is justified by their inability to maintain winning form.

The Rossoneri’s record against Chievo speaks for itself. Milan are unbeaten against them since 2005 – a run of 20 matches which include 17 victories and three goalless stalemates away from home. The home win should be backed and added to all multiples!

Aaron’s Treble @ 4/1
Royal Eagles Win v Santos 6/10 (NFD)
Swansea Win v Burnley 19/20 (EPL)
AC Milan Win v Chievo 6/10 (Serie A)

For The Brave

We are heading back to the price boost market for this week’s added leg. Another epic instalment of the biggest soccer derby in South Africa is set to go down this Saturday with Chiefs and Pirates locking horns in the Soweto Derby. These games tend to be low-scoring and often end in draws, which makes the 1-1 draw at 5/1 a tasty looking prospect.

Adding this leg to our Writers’ Weekend Treble will give you a 34/1 quad!
