The draw for the last sixteen of the Europa League was completed on Friday morning with the pick of the games for fans of the Premier League, most certainly the pairing of Brighton and Roma.
It has been a heady period for Brighton fans who last season saw their club reach its highest-ever league finish while this season they have played some of the biggest names in European football – including Ajax, Marseille and AEK Athens.
Now, following the draw on Friday they get to travel to Rome for the encounter against Jose Mourinho’s former charges.
The first leg of the last-16 ties will be played on Thursday, 7 March, while the return legs are scheduled for 14 March.
