The recent FIFA World rankings have been released and Bafana Bafana have slid down 14 places.

The South African national side’s downward spiral comes as no surprise to football fans as they have been enduring a poor run of form. Stuart Baxter’s charges recently lost two back to back qualifiers against Cape Verde, going down 2-1 both at home and away.

Egypt is the remains the highest ranked African team but they have moved down five places in the global standings. Speaking of the global scheme, Germany has knocked Brazil out of the top spot. Check out your top 10 ranked teams both in Africa and the world right here.
