Italian Serie A: Gameweek 10 Preview

As we enter round 10 of the Serie A, AC Milan remain unbeaten at the summit, five points clear of the pack. Juventus are the only other team yet to taste defeat but with five draws from nine games, the Old Lady seem to be struggling to find their rhythm.

On the opposite end of the table, Crotone are the only team without a win this season. There are a few exciting matchups to look forward to this weekend, so let’s get straight to it!

Saturday 5 December

Spezia 17/4

Draw 31/10

Lazio 6/10

Gameweek 10 kicks off with Spezia taking on Lazio on Saturday afternoon. The hosts are unbeaten in three matches and come into this contest on the back of an impressive 2-2 draw away to Cagliari.

The Eagles on the other hand, have been inconsistent to say the least but they have the quality to kill off a team at any given time, so don’t right them off. With that being said, I’m expecting plenty of goal-mouth action. Get on the Both Teams to Score – Yes – market at 13/20.

Juventus 9/20

Draw 37/10

Torino 52/10

Next up, we have a Turin Derby to look forward to as Juventus play host to Torino. The Old Lady have been far from their best but still remain in the hunt to defend their title for a 10th consecutive season.

Torino have managed just six points from nine games as they occupy 18th place on the standings. It’s only a matter of time before Juve find their feet, and they look a banker to see off their city-rivals at 9/20.

Inter Milan 5/10

Draw 15/4

Bologna 9/2

Inter Milan have been impressive of late with back-to-back wins, scoring seven goals and conceding just twice. However, Bologna have been just as impressive with two wins on the bounce and will look to upset the applecart. This one looks set to go down to the wire. The Totals market – Under 2.5 Goals – looks well worth a punt at 7/4.

Sunday 6 December

Hellas Verona 11/10

Draw 51/20

Cagliari 23/10

Hellas Verona are off the back of an impressive 2-0 win away to Atalanta and will be looking to build on that. Cagliari have been struggling to find a winning formula but will see this as a chance to get some points on the board.

In the last 10 meetings between these sides, the biggest win was a 2-1 victory. With that being said, climb on the Additional Totals – Under 3.5 Goals – at 9/20.

Parma 12/10

Draw 5/2

Benevento 43/20

Parma were impressive last time out as they clinched a hard-earned 2-1 victory away to Genoa. Benevento might not have bagged three points last weekend but a point as a newcomer against Juventus can be considered as a positive.

The sides are level on 10 points coming into this clash, it’s just about who wants it more. I admire Benevento’s bravery and I’m backing them on the Win/Draw Double Chance at 13/20.

Udinese 26/10

Draw 26/10

Atalanta 19/20

Udinese have been excellent in recent weeks with two wins on the spin and will be hoping to maintain that form. Atalanta are winless in their last three matches, including a disappointing 2-0 home defeat at the hands of Hellas Verona.

This is one of those cases where I will say form is temporary and class is permanent. Atalanta have won the last five meetings against Udinese, scoring 15 goals and conceding only four times, including a 7-1 thrashing last term. It might not be pretty, but an away win is on the cards.

Roma 15/20

Draw 31/10

Sassuolo 31/10

Roma’s three-match winning streak came to an end last weekend with a humiliating 4-0 thumping at Napoli and will be hungry to get back to winning ways.

Sassuolo tasted their first defeat of the season last time out with Inter running riot in a 3-0 win on their own turf. The hosts are expected to come out guns blazing and are decently priced to come out with all three points. Take Roma to get the win at 15/20.

Crotone 6/1

Draw 4/1

Napoli 4/10

Crotone, as mentioned, are rock bottom on the log and remain winless after nine matches, scoring six times and conceding 20 goals. Napoli have won three of their four games on the road and look a solid bet to add to that tally.

However, I’m expecting the hosts to show some sort of fight as they edge closer to being a hopeless case. Nonetheless, Napoli are tipped on the Matchbet + Both Teams to Score – Yes – market at 31/20.

Sampdoria 32/10

Draw 28/10

AC Milan 8/10

The penultimate match of the week will see Sampdoria go toe-to-toe with table-toppers AC Milan. La Samp are without a win in their last four games but earned a decent point last time out in a 2-2 draw at Torino.

AC Milan have been brilliant with seven wins and two draws from nine matches and look likely to add to that. However, both sides have enough firepower and this just might be an end-to-end game of football. Take Both Teams to Score – Yes – at 6/10.

Monday 7 December

Fiorentina 15/20

Draw 11/4

Genoa 7/2

Lastly, Fiorentina and Genoa will square off in one of the least exciting matchups of the round. The hosts have suffered three losses from their last four games, while Genoa have registered just one victory so far this season.

These sides have drawn the last four meetings at Artemio Franchi Stadium, while the last three have been goalless. What’s the odds on that happening again? 11/4 – get on! Furthermore, the goalless draw can be backed under Hollywoodbets’ Correct Scores market at 11/1 for those who love a cheeky value bet.

TREBLE @ 4/1

Juventus Win 9/20

Hellas Verona vs Cagliari Under 3.5 Goals 9/20

Napoli Win & BTTS 31/20
