Round 30 of the Italian Serie A kicks off on Saturday the 31st of March! Find out who our football expert is backing.

With the international break done and dusted until the 2018 Russia World Cup, we can turn all our focus on club football. The Serie A will likely go down to the wire with Juventus and Napoli battling it out. Just two points separate the Italian giants with nine rounds of football to go! Who will reign supreme?

Saturday 31 March

Bologna 39/10
Draw 28/10
Roma 7/10

The opening match of the day pits Bologna up against high-flying Roma. The hosts are without a win in their last three matches and have struggled at home all season. The Giallorossi have won six of their last seven matches, including four straight wins on the road.

Roma have won their last three meetings against Bologna, scoring seven goals without reply. The away win is tipped.

Genoa 9/10
Draw 22/10
SPAL 34/10

Genoa have been dismal in recent weeks with three consecutive defeats, shipping four goals without reply. SPAL 2013 are just a point above the drop zone but have shown great fighting spirit in recent weeks and are unbeaten in their last four matches. They managed to hold Juventus to a goalless draw at home before the break.

The relegation-candidates edged the reverse tie 1-0 and are good value to eke out a win here. However, a safer bet would be to take SPAL 2013 on the Win/Draw Double Chance at 8/10.

Cagliari 19/10
Draw 47/20
Torino 14/10

Last time out, Cagliari returned to winning ways with a narrow 2-1 away victory over Benevento. Torino have been poor in recent weeks, suffering four defeats on the trot, as well as two consecutive losses on their travels.

The Islanders have been poor at home but will be desperate to find a bit of form. The last eight meetings between the sides have seen both teams find the back of the net, so I suggest getting on the Both Teams to Score – Yes – market at 13/20.

Atalanta 4/10
Draw 34/10
Udinese 13/2

Atalanta went into the international break on the back of a tremendous 5-0 victory over Hellas Verona and will be confident returning to their fortress on Saturday afternoon. Udinese have been dreadful with five straight losses, scoring only twice and conceding 10 times in the process.

The one positive that Udinese can take coming into this clash is that they are unbeaten against La Dea in the last nine meetings. However, with the kind of form the Bianconeri Friuliani are in, I see that undefeated run coming to an end. The home win is the way to go.

Lazio 2/9
Draw 11/2
Benevento Calcio 10/1

Lazio have lacked consistency in recent weeks but they remain in contention of a UEFA Champions League spot and the international break would have given them enough time to recuperate. Newcomers Benevento have lost 24 of their 28 matches – enough said!

The Eagles annihilated the relegation-bound side in the reverse tie with a 5-1 thumping and I’m expecting another routine victory for the hosts. Back Lazio on the (-1) Handicap at 11/20.

Fiorentina 5/10
Draw 32/10
Crotone 11/2

Fiorentina have been buzzing of late with the Viola winning three consecutive matches before the international break. Crotone are placed 18th on the table with three losses from their last four matches and have travelled dismally with just two wins from 13 games.

The Pythagoreans won the corresponding fixture 2-1 and Fiorentina will be out for revenge. Back the latter to capitalize on home advantage.

Inter Milan 2/13
Draw 13/2
Hellas Verona 15/1

Inter Milan have been strong on their ground with nine wins from 15 games. Hellas Verona come into this contest with their tail between their legs after being hammered 5-0 on home soil at the hands of Atalanta.

Inter Milan have proven to be solid at the San Siro, while their opponents have battled to find the back of the net this season. Get on the Home to Win to Nil market at 15/20.

Chievo Verona 5/4
Draw 47/20
Sampdoria 43/20

Chievo and Sampdoria will go toe-to-toe at Stadio Marc’Antonio Bentegodi on Saturday evening. The home side have lost 10 of their last 12 matches, including three defeats in a row. Sampdoria have travelled poorly with four losses from their last five games and were humiliated 5-0 on home soil against Inter Milan last weekend.

Neither side look good coming into this contest and a draw looks the likely result. Back Chievo and Sampdoria to cancel each other out.

Sassuolo 7/1
Draw 38/10
Napoli 7/20

The penultimate match of the week will see Sassuolo take on title-chasing Napoli. The Neroverdi ended a nine-match winless run last time out with a hard-earned 2-1 win away to Udinese.

The Azzurri remain the only unbeaten team on the road this term with 12 wins from 14 games, scoring 30 goals and conceding just seven times. This one has goals written all over it. The Totals – Over 2.5 Goals – market is the way to go at 7/10! Get on!

Juventus 13/20
Draw 26/10
AC Milan 9/2

Table-toppers Juventus lead at the summit by a mere two points with Napoli hot on their heels. AC Milan are next up and are the most in-form team in the league at the minute, so you can expect an entertaining clash.

Nonetheless, the Old Lady are used to the pressure at the top of the log and know how to grind out results when need be. Juve have won 12 of their 14 matches at home and are tipped to grind out another victory.

TREBLE TIPPED @ 37/10
Roma Win 7/10
Sassuolo vs Napoli Over 2.5 Goals 7/10
Juventus Win 13/20
