Saturday 4 July

Juventus 1/4
Draw 9/2
Torino 10/1
Juventus bounced back from their Copa Italia defeat by winning three consecutive league games with Cristiano Ronaldo and Paulo Dybala finding the back of the net on each occasion. The Old Lady welcome embattled Torino who have won one of their last five games. This is written Juventus win all over it.

Sassuolo 5/10
Draw 36/10
Lecce 47/10
Sassuolo returned to winning ways when they thrashed Fiorentina 3-1 the last time out, snapping a tree-match winless run. Lecce are in the relegation zone and they’ve lost all their games since the return of competitive football. Back the hosts.

Lazio 13/10
Draw 23/10
AC Milan 21/10
By the time this match happens Lazio could be seven points behind Juventus or have a chance to narrow the gap down to one point, depending on how the game in Turin pans out. AC Milan are unbeaten in their last three games with two wins and a draw and they’re still in pursuit of European football. I think these teams will cancel each other out.

Sunday 5 July

Inter Milan 9/20
Draw 34/10
Bologna 11/2
Inter head into this one off the back of a ruthless 6-0 win over bottomless Brescia with the likes of Christian Eriksen, Ashley Young and Alexis Sanchez finding the back of the net. Bologna have won one of their last five games and they will have their work cut out against Antonio Conte’s troops. I’m putting my money on Inter.

Udinese 5/4
Draw 9/4
Genoa 9/4
Both these teams are just above the relegation zone with Udinese occupying 15th place while Genoa in 17th position are just one point above the drop zone. Roma come into this fixture off the back of a shock 2-0 victory over Roma and should have be able to get the better of a team that last won a match before lockdown. I foresee a Udinese win here.

Parma 2/1
Draw 47/20
Fiorentina 27/20
Parma are enduring a two-match losing streak but prior to that they had played a draw and won one game. On the other hand, Fiorentina are winless since the return of professional football. This will be a tough game between two sides who rarely win and I’ll predict a share of the spoils.

Brescia 17/4
Draw 29/10
Hellas Verona 13/20
Bottom-placed Brescia have lost a whopping 19 of their 29 games so far this season and they come up against a Verona side who are placed eight and their inconsistency is highlighted by their mixed bag of results having won 11, lost nine and drawn nine of their 29 league games so far this season. I’ll back the away team due to Brescia’s atrocious record this season.

Sampdoria 9/10
Draw 5/2
Spal 3/1
Sampdoria’s recent form has been indifferent with two wins and three defeats but they play Spal who are in the relegation zone and seven points off safety. The visitors haven’t won a single game since lockdown. I think the hosts will win this one.

Cagliari 17/4
Draw 34/10
Atalanta 11/20
Cagliari have won two and drawn one of their four games since the return of football but thy will have their work cut out for them against one of the form teams in Atalanta. The visitors are on a five-match winning streak and are showing no signs of slowing down. I say Atalanta will amass maximum points.

Napoli 21/20
Draw 51/20
Roma 24/10
This is a clash of two teams who are eager to return to winning ways after poor results the last time out. Napoli’s four-match winning streak came to a screeching halt when they lost 2-0 to brilliant Atalanta while Roma were shocked by Udinese. This will be a tough one between number five and number six and I’ll lean towards a share of the spoils.

Treble @4/1
Udinese win 5/4
Inter win 9/20
Atalanta win 11/20
