Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed the arrival of Bafana Bafana forward Lebogang Manyama on a free transfer.
Manyama was a free agent following his release by Turkey’s Konyaspor in July and subsequently the Glamour Boys have snapped up his services.
The 27-year-old boasts a good goal-scoring pedigree as he ended the 2016/17 campaign as the leading scorer in the Premiership with 13 goals for Cape Town City, which won him a move abroad.
However, his spell in Turkey did not work out and he has since now signed for Amakhosi. The player is reportedly available for this weekend’s MTN8 semi-final first leg clash with SuperSport United.
The Bafana star becomes the fifth signing of the current transfer window behind Khama Billiat, Letlhogonolo Mirwa, Virgil Vries and Adriamirado Andrianarimanana.
The side’s official Twitter account said: “We would like to confirm the signing of Lebogang Manyama. Welcome to the Kaizer Chiefs Family.”
