Orlando Pirates have confirmed that Thembinkosi Lorch could be sidelined for up to five weeks with an injury.

The 27-year-old picked up a knee injury during the 1-0 win over Bloemfontein Celtic last week.
The Bucs medical team revealed via the official Pirates website that “Lorch’s injury is not a serious one” and that he is “expected to make a full recovery” after undergoing “surgery to remove osteochondroma”, which is an overgrowth of cartilage and bone.
The update also added that Tshegofatso Mabasa and Bongani Sam are back in full training.
