Saturday’s fixture with Clement Foot will be Ramos’ last for PSG.

“It is a special day, as I say goodbye to another stage of my life, goodbye to PSG,” Ramos wrote on Twitter.

The 37-year-old Ramos made 57 appearances for PSG after joining from Real Madrid in the Spanish LaLiga in 2021.

“Sergio’s leadership, team spirit and professionalism, combined with his experience at the highest level, make him a true football legend, and it was an honour to have him in Paris,” added PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi.

Earlier this week, head coach Christophe Galtier confirmed Argentina star Lionel Messi is leaving PSG.

“I had the privilege of managing the best player in the history of football. This will be his last match at the Parc des Princes. I dare to hope that he will be welcomed in the best possible way,” said Galtier.

“This year, he has been an important part of the team, always available. I don’t think any of the comments or criticisms are justified.

“He’s always been there for the team. It’s been a great privilege to accompany him throughout the season.”
