Mamelodi Sundowns co-coach Rulani Mokwena has calculated what he thinks is needed points wise to win the DStv Premiership title.
The Brazilians currently lead the standings with 30 points from 12 games after beating Sekhukhune United 2-0 over the weekend.
Downs are halfway to the 60-goal tally Mokwena things will be enough to claim the Premiership crown for a fifth straight year having the title 11 times overall.
“Even if we get to 60 points and we feel that the league is wrapped up, we have the responsibilities to this club, to the management, the ownership of the club and the supporters of the club to make sure we play and win every single match,” Mokwena told the media.
“That says then that your process is governed by principles, values and the profile of the club and not by points. We don’t look at points or how much we need, we focus on trying to make sure that we build a very strong team on the pitch,” the coach explained.
Sundowns remain unbeaten in the league with the draws and nine wins so far this season.
