After a week of international football, Italy’s favorites soap opera is back. The match of the weekend sees Juventus take on Roma, while there will be plenty of eyes on Inter’s tie against Lazio.

Eighteenth takes on nineteenth in the first game of Saturday’s round of fixtures. It looks to be an extremely difficult match to call on paper with teams languishing in the relegation zone. It does look like a must-win game for both teams which could turn it into a cagey affiar. I’m tipping the Half-Time Draw at 11/10.

Lazio take on Inter Milan in this encounter. Lazio have had a topsy turvy start to the season thus far gaining 11 points from seven matches. The defending champions, meanwhile have had a great start to their campaign, tallying 17 points from seven matches. Inter do look too strong here and at 1/1 they do look good value. Back the away team.
AC Milan 9/20 | Draw 36/10 | Hellas Verona 5/1 (20:45)
AC Milan fought hard to win their last encounter, beating Atalanta 3-2. They face a Hellas Verona side who were ultra-impressive in their last fame against Spezia. With AC Milan being at home, they should really be too good here and are tipped win this quite comfortably. Banker the home side.
Sunday 17 October
Cagliari 16/10 | Draw 23/10 | Sampdoria 33/20 (12:30)
Cagliari face Sampdoria in this bottom of the log clash, both teams have been disappointing so far this season and this looks to be another tough encounter. With Cagliari at home, they should be able to nick this and at 16/10, they do look good value.
Udinese 14/10 | Draw 23/10 | Bologna 19/10 (15:00)
It’s a mid-table clash as Udinese face off with Bologna up next. Udinese are winless in their last four matches in Serie A and face off against Bologna who wiped aside Lazio in their last match, winning by 3 goals to nil. Both teams are very unpredictable on their day and the Half-Time Draw at 12/10 looks a runner here.
Empoli 4/1 | Draw 33/10 | Atalanta 6/10 (15:00)
Empoli face Atalanta in this clash. The home side have done well so far this season, having accumulated nine points in their first seven games. Atalanta do have the quality and the class to get through this and should be able to win this, but it will not be easy away at Empoli. Select the Additional Total market here, Over 3.5 Goals is the play at 7/2.
Napoli 4/10 | Draw 39/10 | Torino 64/10 (18:00)
Napoli have a 100% record so far this season, brushing aside all challengers thus far. They face a Torino side who have had a decent, if not spectacular, start to the season. You simply can’t ignore Napoli’s form here. Banker the home team in everything.
Genoa 23/10 | Draw 5/2 | Sassuolo 11/10 (15:00)
Genoa host Sassuolo in this encounter, the home side come into this without a win in their last four games, they face a Sassuolo side who are also looking quite dismal, losing five in their last six. It looks like another puzzle to try and solve in this encounter and for that reason, I am tentatively tipping the draw here at 5/2.

The clash of the weekend sees Juventus taking on Roma. Juventus have found their best form having won four in a row. Roma do look like they have an exciting season ahead with Jose Mourinho at the helm. Both teams do look to be in good spaces which should make this a cracker to watch. Take the Half-Time Draw at 14/10.

Seventeenth host fifth as Venezia welcome Fiorentina in this encounter. The hosts are winless in their last four and will find it hard against Fiorentina here. Fiorentina have 12 points in their first seven games and find themselves in fifth, they should really win this quite comfortably. Banker the away team!
