The former Kaizer Chiefs striker took charge of the Durban-based side after Steve Komphela departed for Mamelodi Sundowns.

This marked Khenyeza’s second stint as the sole head coach, having previously led the team after Vusumuzi Vilakazi’s exit.

According to a number of publications, a numbers of players have been unhappy with Khenyeza’s leadership this seadon.

The club are currently in sixth place on the Betway Premiership standings with 13 points from their opening eight games.

iDiski Times say: “The decision was made after their win over Cape Town City moving the club into sixth place in the league with four wins, one draw and three defeats.

“Khenyeza is said to have stated not being happy in his role at the club and looking for a new challenge away from Arrows.

“He was part of a coaching trio alongside Musa Bilankulu and Kagiso Dikgacoi this season and it remains to be seen whether the club will look to replace him in the technical team.”
